Beautiful town, the Bethune house museum is definitely worth a visit. Very informative. Most places seem to be walkable, park car and go. The Wenonah2 ship was good, BUT it is like touring the fancy cottages. Kind of disappointed that Lake Muskoka is so built up .

Like the city, it has a nice access and activities to the lake.
The boat trip to view the fireworks was mediocre. Unlike boat tours in different areas, there was no information or explanation about the area, history etc…it was also hard to view the fireworks the way the boat was located.

Gravenhurst is a beautiful town with great vistas of Lake Muskoka. We stayed at the Taboo but it was kind of off the beaten track so we didn't get to dine out because it was too far to drive. We were only there for 2 days and unfortunately it rained on one of them so we didn't get to take the cruise. The shops were lovely. Getting around wasn't easy ...the signs were poor for visitors who didn't know the area. I think if we came again we would stay at the Residence because it is closer to the amenities and restaurants.

We realized that early in the week in March, a lot of places weren’t open-that’s ok.
We were able to visit nearby places and XC ski, which is one of the reasons we came. We’ve been before so knew what to expect. We will be back as we can pass through on our way further north to see family.

This was a nice quiet place to get away from the rat race.
This was a nice quiet place to get away from the rat race. The fall colours in early October were gorgeous.
One thing that visitors should be aware of right now is that a lot of restaurants have shut down or limited their hours because of COVID-19. There aren't a lot of options for going out to dinner, especially Monday - Wednesday. However, we discovered that the Boston Pizza has a patio with a lovely view out over the water, so that's nice. Better than the view of the strip mall parking lot from the Boston Pizza parking lot back home, for sure.

We ate at Boston Pizza, and a restaurant close-by. both were good.
I don't need to read the reviews on this location.
I believe the Gravenhurst Inn well managed.
We really had a great stay in Blue Spruce. Everything was nice and clean and our hosts were so friendly and prepared and served every morning a changing and wonderful breakfast. The house is perfectly located. You can reach Downtown Gravenhurst and Muskoka lake in a few minutes walk. Muskoka offers so many outdoor opportunities and the house offers a great location to explore. We can highly recommend a vacation in Blue Spruce.
A quiet, beautiful and excellently located B&B. Beverly is a lovely host and very knowledgeable about the area. She takes care of her guests and puts thought into all the little details. So close to Gravenhurst and Bracebridge, lots to see and do. All that you want in a B&B and more! Thank you for making our anniversary getaway a wonderful time!
The bedroom was spacious with a seating area; the adjoining private bathroom had a roomy clean shower. Breakfast was delicious. Bev, the hostess, was extremely kind, helpful and made our stay relaxing. loved the quietness of the country road, yet just outside of Gravenhurst downtown and 15 minutes from Bracebridge.
Wonderful location alone in the woods near a river and waterfall. About 20 minutes from Gravenhurst where you can find anything, including the beat music store ever.
The house is big. Three bedrooms including a bunk bed. One bathroom. Kitchen has some newer appliances and is decently equipped .
Thé location is very convenient, just a few steps from town center of Gravenhurst. The canin is equipped with simple counter top stove and a microwave. The table can fit 4 people to sit down to eat comfortably.
We appreciated the beautifully renovated home, in a quiet location close to Gull Lake, yet within easy walking distance of good local restaurants and summer theatre in the centre of Gravenhurst.
This was a family-run hotel: and they were so friendly!! The beds were very comfortable and the shower was powerful We also appreciated the complementary pop and little ice maker.
The breakfast was delicious! The cabin was super cute, and really comfortable. Short walk to a great public beach, and close to downtown gravenhurst. Great location!
The room was not as booked.payment was made before arrival on October 15. We left the hotel without staying.
