Property was really clean and easy to find. The owners and staff were all really lovely and accommodating, can’t thank them enough for how welcome they made me feel. They kept the reception open late when my flight was delayed and let me keep my room for longer after check out when my flight wasn’t until later in the afternoon. They always engaged me in conversation and were very generous with their handshakes. Truly lovely people that care about what they do and the people who use their facilities

Great location. The beach is close, it takes an hour to get to Corfu town by bus, a few minutes walk to the bus stop, there are many cafes and shops nearby. Air conditioning is free. The owner does not show real photos of the bathroom. But it was clean, everything worked. Of the minuses, there is no kettle, but it is not in the description, this is just a wish. Overall, we are satisfied, but For the money there are better options.

A lovely fishing village on the Ionion Sea with an impressive choice of restaurants, all with sea views - some on the shoreside itself. Narrow roads but plenty of parking in the village centre. The beaches on this side of the island are not as impressive as those on the west (Aegean Sea), but they are absolutely fine for simple bathing and safe for families with young children. The Boukari Beach Seafood Taverna and the Kalami Beach Taverna are both worthy of praise for their food and friendly welcome. A great spot for two or three nights at either end of your holiday in Corfu.

The village of Boukari is about 40 minutes drive south of the town of Corfu. It is a quiet and still authentic place on the southeast coast that has not been invaded by tourists (yet and particularly in April). There are few hotels and a few restaurants directly on the water. I particularly recommend the Kalami Beach and the Boukari Beach Fish Taverna. Aristea and her mother Anna were so helpful and welcoming. A place to relax and enjoy the sea and nearby villages, which was what we wanted when coming to Corfu. During our trip we stayed in 3 different accommodations across Corfu and this was our favorite by far even though the others were lovely as well. We went to eat every night to Akrogiali fish taverna! The view was spectacular! 10/10 for sure we will be back soon!

Boukari is a quiet village with a harbour, several tavernas with very good fish and a village store it is also a good base to explore the island with a car which can be rented from the hotel.
