Tongeren is a very clean village.
Tongeren is a very clean village. The people are always very kind and courteous. We enjoy eating at the different restaurants. They have a gelato shop with plenty flavors. If you want a great selection of wines, then Vinotel is the place for you! The Grand Place is quant with a beautiful Cathedral. Most things are within walking distance. The shops are well decorated and inviting. You’ll find plenty of Antique stores too.GloradeanGermany - 10Scored 10

We love visit Tongeren. We eat often in the centrum, They have a many restaurants and very good food. Every Sunday they have Antique market and we really love it. Friendly people and easy parking and lovely city!

If you are interested in Antiques - you really should visit the weekly Antiques Market: It is quite good, with a huge number of vendors and surprisingly reasonable prices. For us, it was worth the trip.

Rustic old town with the roman city walls, gallo-roman museum.. which for me was the highlight. I learnt a lot about human civilization and origin of European history & thought. Loved the food culture and I would highly recommend 'De Infirmerie'. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Tongeren!

Location is beautiful with a canal running alongside the former water mill. Lush grass and seating areas on the lawn. The house is also located close to Tongeren (you can even walk to the center if you like walking a bit - count on about 30' firm walking). It is also at walking distance from the wellness center sané (900m).

When we got to the front desk, our room key was readily available in less than 5 minutes. The front desk person gave us some info about the hotel amenities which was the bulk of his speech. Very nice. Elevator was right near the lobby.
