Veurne is conveniently located off the motorway.

Veurne is conveniently located off the motorway. Veurne has everything a traveller needs including a selection of quality restaurants and bars. It is a town with history, lovely buildings and a circular walk around the town is possible.

    Small walkable town.

Small walkable town. Quieter than the coastal towns in the summer months. Two interesting churches in town. Good train and bus connexions to the coast and interior of Belgium. A large number of rather expensive restaurants around the main square Grote Markt in the centre. We liked Brasserie Christophe but had negative experiences in two other restaurants around the square.

One of the best preserved towns in Belgium.

One of the best preserved towns in Belgium. It would be easy to see everything in half a day, but it is extremely pleasant to stay for longer and there is easy access to coastal towns like De Panne, Koksijde etc

An interesting and attractive town with many of the historic buildings still standing. An excellent tourist office with a most interesting museum about life in Veurne during WW!. Good restaurants and plenty of them. Good access to the coast. Pleasant rural countryside round about. I did like the old railway station, now being restored, and the carillon in the church tower

Nice small city, I'd even say tiny.

Nice small city, I'd even say tiny. Quite a lack of cafes and restaurants. You can expect raised eyebrows if you come without a reservation. The food is all sorts of deep fried stuff, chips for garnish, you really have no other options. All kinds of krokkets and meat. Not a big choice of tap beers, mostly Brugse Zot and something in addition. Not the experience I was expecting to get from Belgium. I recommend hitting the city park on the Grotemarkt, it is very small and quiet. Has a playground, a few cages with parrots and a few nice statues

Very nice and big house, able to host easily 12 people. The spacious living and kitchen are, in combination with wall surrounded garden, enables everyone to have enough private space during the visit. The kitchen is very well equipped. Very short to the city center of Veurne allowing easy shopping (bakery/buchter), and the next door warehouse is really convenient during your stay. The house was foreseen to host as well dogs, which made it really nice to get our family together.

You get to enjoy a fabulous room in a small but well-kept hotel in a great location. We have stayed there twice, and our hostess was wonderful on both occasions. We had lovely Continental breakfasts during both stays, which included fresh fruit, eggs cooked to our liking, warm and crusty rolls, as well as croissants, and an assortment of spreads, cold meats and cheese. Coffee or tea was also on offer, along with orange juice.

Spacious. Lovely location in the middle of fields with great views. Clean and nicely furnished. Good facilities including washing machine and dryer. Lovely outside area. Play barn for kids and adults to play. Close to Plopsaland and beautiful town of Veurne, and the beach. Friendly host who met us and explained everything. Secure property with locking gate. A very beautiful property which I would recommend.

The property has lots of character, with many interesting features of its former industrial use carefully and tastefully retained. The bedroom was very clean and the bed really comfortable. Very hospitable owners who made me feel welcome. Breakfast was great. And good secure storage for my cycle. The town of Veurne is certainly worthy of a visit. I'd recommend this hotel.
