Public transportation, including ferry to Corsica was a good experience. Good variety of restaurants, shops, cafes.. however if visiting during "off season" be flexible as not all of the regular facilities are open. We absolutely loved Santa Teresa Di Gallura. It is such a charming town with the most beautiful people and amazing food. I didn't find there was much to see/do, some restaurants/shops were close to the hotel. For me this was a stop over to wait out the ferry that did not sail to Corsica, my actual destination, due to the cyclone. This would not be a location I would return to, except if I was getting the ferry again..

About an hour's transfer from Olbia Airport, Santa Teresa is a beautiful little seaside town. Ideal for anyone who loves sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling and/or paddleboarding. You can take boat trips around the smaller islands and the ferry to Corsica, provided there are no high winds! They are a couple of small archaeological sites to visit but other than that there isn't much to do but enjoy the sun, sea, food and gelato. We spent 8 nights here but I would've easily added another week of possible.ConniUnited Kingdom

Breakfast is great, there is a large selection of foods. There are many beach chairs on the hotel beach and the public beach is next to it. The view from the hotel is magnificent. The hotel is in a walking distance to the town center, restaurants and stores. There are many restaurants in the town to choose from. There is a ferry to Corsica in the town.

I could sit on the balcony staring at that view for hours. Good location. We walked from the hotel to the beach and into town for dinner. Just be ready for some steep parts. Friendly staff. The hotel runs a shuttle bus to different beaches.
