Villa Etelka is a 17-th century building with garden and small swimming pool. It is set on the hills of Valverde, 3.1 mi from Aci Castello and 6.2 mi from Catania.
Set right on the sea promenade, La Terrazza is less than 5 minutes’ walk from Aci Castello town center. It features air-conditioned rooms, an outdoor pool and an Italian sweet breakfast.

The view was spectacular and the property was quite lovely. The staff, or rather the family that run the property are also very charming. We will 100% come back.
Frasteva is a historic villa dating back to the 1800s. Set in Valverde, it offers apartments with fully equipped kitchens and outdoor areas where you can enjoy a meal or simple relax in the garden.

Plenty of room , but this is not a Resort. It is a small apartment complex that appeared to have full time residents. That was not a problem at all . Host was helpful and ready to answer any questions.Pleanty of amenities.
Located 558 feet from the rocky beach of Cannizzaro, Il Giardino Dei Limoni offers a terrace and a garden. This bed and breakfast features simple rooms with free Wi-Fi.

The room was comfortable and had all we needed. The garden was very cute and the breakfast area was nicely decorated. Communication with host was easy and efficient. He suggested a restaurant to have sea food which was excellent. We overall enjoyed our stay very much. Also, very fast internet
La Castellese enjoys a location in Aci Castello, 29 miles from Isola Bella and 30 miles from Taormina Cable Car – Upper Station.

Great host. Great breakfast. Private enclave and private access to beach.

Locals were rude and often very Arrogant and attempted to overcharge far too many times. They hope you won’t challenge them about it. My advice is , Ask how much before paying and Check your receipts and bills .
The town is scruffy and dirty. The vast amounts of discarded Rubbish on the streets is difficult to ignore. Definitely would not return.
Positive note : The sea view and the sunset is beautiful.

Actually Frasteva is located in the town of Valverde not in Aci Castello, which is a short drive awa. It is more inland than Aci Castello and it is convenient to all of the towns that make up "Paesi Etnei", that is, the little towns on the southeastern slope of Mount Etna, which are suburbs of Catania. It is a great jumping off point for Taormina, Catania and Siracusa and is a twenty-five minute ride to the airport, depending on traffic.
What makes this newly renovated and picturesque venue a perfect stay are the wonderful accomodations and the personal and cheery attention to detail given to all that stay there by its host, Stefania. She is simply an absolute pleasure to interact with. I am going there the next time I return to the Catania area and I assure anyone who stays there that they will not be disappointed.

Aci Trezza is beautiful...the place we stayed in is NOT!
Aci Trezza is beautiful...the place we stayed in is NOT! It had literally a derelict entrance, with wires dangling from the ceiling, parts of which appeared to be about to give in; filthy place (I was expecting to see rats it was that bad!)....It is NOT close to the beach (although the place had a seaview); I would certainly NOT recommend to anybody! Will most certainly not book again! If I were to rate it honestly I would give a 2/10 and the 2 is only for the seaview!

Very quiet place .. Small but very connected to the sea.
Very quiet place .. Small but very connected to the sea. So fish is staple. It is a bit laid back . Think basic and you will love it.
It is such a shame that the towns coming down to Aci Castello (note that this town is close to sea level) have a lot of garbage scattered around and gives you a very different vibe of this beautiful basic fishing village ..

Aci Castello is a great place to stay if you want to explore...
Aci Castello is a great place to stay if you want to explore the area - the wonderful coastline up to Taormina, the great sights while trekking around Etna, and breathtaking villages like Castiglione di Sicilia.
Aci Castello is smaller and quieter than its walk-to, more touristy neighbour Aci Trezzo, and 'The Sea You Can Feel' is a unique place to stay, perched high above the rocky coastline. There are stunning 360 degree views from the spacious roof terrace, a perfect place to indulge in a sundowner or two, whilst the 'lookout' below has 3 walls of windows for relaxing and taking in the amazing location!
The owners, Giuseppe and Antonella are passionate about Sicily and gave us loads of useful advice.
Thrilled we selected Villa Ortensia and chose to stay outside Catania in Aci Castello. Great location to explore the Mt. Etna region and day-trip to Taormina. From our balcony we enjoyed the sunrise over Ionian Sea each morning. Breakfast was a great assortment of items to kick off the day (yogurt for protein, no meat or cheese). Secured parking on street with gate. Easy walk to several restaurants for evening fare. After driving in Catania and trying to find parking, it's a no brainer to head north to stay and explore!
The location of the apartment is perfect, only 5 minutes from the sea, a grocery store, and great restaurants! The host was so kind, and nice, when we arrived she welcomed us with delicious sweets! The apartment is really clean and comfortable, the pillows are amazing to sleep on! The balconies were a blessing and the view was great, on the roof the terrace is easily accessible and a great place to relax, or sunbathe! It was a pleasure to stay here, and if we come back to Sicily we will definitely stay here again!
Phenomenally beautiful apartment overlooking the sea- the most beautiful, indeed, of all of the places I stayed in Sicily! Lots of plants and furnishings helped make it feel more like a home than a hotel, and the views of Etna and the ocean were extraordinary! Signora Pavone could not have been nicer- she waited over 45 minutes on the street for my arrival (I took the wrong highway exit!) and made it as easy as possible for me to leave in the predawn to catch my flight! Much appreciated!!
The house is located somewhat hidden right on the volcanic beach in Aci Trezza. The host - Anna - is extremely kind, welcoming and helpful. The apartment has a really modern and clean feel to it with a super nice and modern kitchen and bathroom area(s). Nice garden and an invaluable secure parking for the car. Good base for visiting Etna, Taormina, Syracusa and Savoca. Beaches are rocky due to the closeness of Etna - first sandy beach is South of Syracusa about an hour drive away.
The apartment was a fantastic find. It has kitchen, sitting room, bathroom, bedroom, and then a terrace with a view looking right at the Castello Normanno and the sea. The ground floor is a restaurant, but there are plenty more around town. The town square (one block away, in front of the castle) was lovely and lively. Oh- the washing machine was a convenience, as we had been in hotels the previous few nights.
Peppe our host made us welcomed at his place, the the hospitality service is beyond exceptional. He was very helpful on all of our inquiries on the area. Breakfast was very lavish and delicious. The facilities were all very clean and the views of Aci Castello, particularly in the morning, were just breathtaking! Grazie tanto - we will definitely be back! :)
Fabrizio was excellent in checking us in. He showed us all the details about the place. The place was spacious and the pool was nice. The best part was the private beach just minutes away, so we had a rocky beach practically to ourselves! Great location, too. Aci Costello is a nice town with some good restaurants. the people were also very friendly!
The hosts were really nice and helpful. The Villa is located in a quite private property with a lot of other villas, but you can be relaxed regarding your car and stuff as the whole property is with private access. The place is actually at the "nice" side of Catania. By saying nice I mean that it is a bit scary in Catania downtown.
Pleasant, quiet place by the harbour, close to restaurants, with good parking in front of the house. Nice hostess who recommended us an excellent restaurant. The apartment is spacious and clean. The only small negative was the third floor with difficult baggage transport,
The apartment is in an excellent location, right next to all the restaurants and next to the sea. It was very clean and full of facilities. Yes I would recommend this apartment to my friends. In summer acitrezza is a lovely place to stay and to enjoy.
The room was spacious and clean, and the owner very kind and accommodating. We enjoyed the free breakfast of pastries and coffee. The hotel is just a short walk away from Aci Castello’s main square, and a half hour drive to the airport in Catania.
Demenico was very kind and caring host. He showed me good place where I can have delicious food for less price and best place where to go to beach. Breakfast was done with love. Also location is amazing and the view is stunning.
The owner was very kind and thoughtful. The apartment is lovely and very comfortable. I liked the fact it was so central and I could get to shops, restaurants etc so easily and yet it was quiet.Acitrezza is a beautiful area.
Very warm welcome by host Salvo. Comfy rooms, great breakfast. Very close to the sea and a bus stop to Catania at a very short distance (less than 5 mins walk). Quiet and peaceful neighbourhood.
Great localisation with a private parking place inside a securised complex. Swimming pool, private beach. And Alfio, Naomi, Moreno are friendly and always at your service for any information
The apartment is clean, comfortable, well equipped and organized. The owner is very kind and helpful. The location is perfect if you like to visit Catania and its surrounding,
