The Old Town is stunning and the service in cafes and restaurants was very good. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. We visited sites from Cinema Paradiso and the lady showing us the cinema was welcoming and informative. The Catherdral and the square it sits in are beautiful and lovely to see the Arab - Norman buildings. Beachfront buildings are beautiful.
Even though it was out of season it was busy so maybe summer it would be too crowded but understandable as so pretty.
Vegetarian food on offer less inventive that in other towns in Sicily but the sights of the Old Town make up for any minor disappointments.

An absolutely charming town, the resort was relaxing, the employees all so nice… Cefalu had incredible beauty and if you are there at easter, the procession to the dome at night was touching. Beautiful plaza in front of the dome. Everything you can imagine in a small sicilian town.

Cefalu is a beautiful place in Sicily.
Cefalu is a beautiful place in Sicily. There is abounding natural beauty and many interesting little streets to wander, dotted with shops and restaurants.
Our accomodation was over-priced for the offering.
Fabulous town. Beautiful beach. Fantastic restaurants. The Old Town was amazing.Everyone was very friendly. Very easy to get around. The hill behind the town was worth walking up. We would avoid the hotel we stayed in, but would love to go back.

town is pretty but tourist oriented.
town is pretty but tourist oriented. Locals not exactly friendly. Think they are sick of tourists. Water was too rough to swim. Restaurants were mediocre compared to other places in Sicily.
Still good for a few days I think. Very historic
The hotel staff who communicated and welcomed us was excellent, he meant to make guests completely comfortable and was always helpful. The apartment had all the essentials for our stay, not only furniture and appliances, but also basic food and reliable internet. Just a few steps outside were the jacuzzi pool and healthy fruit trees and flowering plants; then a bit farther the pebble beach, which was quite clean, with clear turquoise waters. Our apartment also had a great view of the fringes of Sicily, a few Aeolian islands, and the ocean.
Thoughtfully updated, immaculate boutique hotel with very comfortable beds and excellent location right on the beach, just a 5 minute walk to the heart of the old town. We stayed in the Superior Double Room, which had a large private sea view terrace with a hot tub (that was kept at a refreshing cool temperature for the hot summer weather). The manager, Chelsea, was extremely attentive and ensured that we had everything we needed to have a pleasant stay. We definitely recommend Abelia Suites when visiting Cefalú!
Overall, I had a great experience in Cefalu in Blu. Host was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful and perfect with the family stay. Property is clean and has a fantastic old time charm. Breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied. Thank you so much.
It is vey central and walking distance of all local shops cafes and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown.
The resort was incredible. Super family friendly, full of activities for kids, and the beach was our favorite in all of Sicily.
The restaurants were very good - my favorite was the sushi restaurant which was innovative and super yummy - but make sure to book them in advance because the day we got there there was nothing available other than the buffet (which is what you get if you book all inclusive).
We really loved the place. The staff was very nice and helpful. The location was amazing, you are just crossing the street and arrive to the beach. The breakfast was served in the next door hotel (Sunset hotel), it was good, but lucking some diversity. Cefalu is really amazing and it's a 10 minutes walk to the old town, definitely recommend this place.
My wife and I spent a night at Retrò Rooms. The hotel room was comfortable, the breakfast was great, and the staff are all friendly and professional. The hotel has parking onsite for those with rental car. The location is a quick walk to the old town and Rocco di Cefalu trailhead. The beach is a couple of blocks down the street. Nice spot to stay at.
The property was amazing! The apartment is brand new, clean, comfortable and right in the center of town. Mariella was so thoughtful! We arrived a little early and she greeted us with Prosecco, juice and snacks for our family. Cefalu was our favorite in Sicily and we look forward to returning again soon!!
The hotel is a perfect gem with a glorious private beach. Family owned and operated makes it feel even more special. The rooms are big with kitchenettes and good sized bathrooms. Every room has a big terrace. The breakfast (included) is fresh and delicious with tons of options.
Breakfast was fabulous - so much choice and all very fresh. A lovely family feel and so friendly. We loved it!! From what I could gather it is one of the few hotels with a private pool and this really added to our stay. Also, it's literally across the road from a great beach
Our warmest welcome so far in Sicily. It is family owned and the staff couldn’t do enough for you especially Elisa who was so smiling and helpful, with excellent English. Stunning view from our balcony. Breakfast was good with lots of choice and fresh fruit.
Basic hotel a free minutes to the beach and to the old town. On site garage parking is a big plus. This is a clean, quiet place to stay in Cefalu. Breakfast is basic. Rooms are as depicted in photos. No useful assistance on where to eat, sights, etc.
Room was well equipped with more modern/stylish furniture than any other place we have stayed in Italy. Staff at the front desk were extremely helpful. Easy access to beach with chairs and multiple bars around the hotel.
We really enjoyed the bathroom and bedroom setup as a family of four. It was a luxury to have two baths, and everyone have their own bed in its own space. Proximity to everything in town and out was exceptional.
Very good hotel with friendly and helpful staff and private beach nearby. The room was well equipped and everywhere was bright and clean. Bar, swimming pool and garage are also available.
Blue Bay was amazing! Such an amazing view of the beach/ocean and sunrise was spectacular! Sadly our stay in Sicily was rainy/windy so we did not get any time to spend on the beach.
Location was great, staff were very nice, swimming pool was great and private beach just in front of the hotel very convenient. Amazing sea view from our room.
The location was perfect - in the historic center of Cefalu and near the beach. In fact, the hotel provided us with beach towels and access to a nice beach.
