Hotel was very clean and close to the RAI station. Easy to go everywhere. The staff was nice and welcome.

It is located within a 15-minute walk from a train station (Lelylaan), a metro (Henk Sneerewitweg) and bike sharing (Donkey Rep and OV fiets). I used train, metro and the Donkey Rep bike. All went really well. I also went to Radion and biked back at night, less than 10 min and felt safe.
The gateway to the Netherlands, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is one of the world’s busiest international passenger terminals and home to the Dutch national airline, KLM.
The airport sits on reclaimed land around 10 feet below sea level on the site of a former huge inland lake. In fact, the name Schiphol may mean "ship grave," a reference to the ships that would periodically be sunk in its turbulent waters.
A train station serving many Dutch cities lies beneath the terminal building which houses a mini Rijksmuseum exhibition, reference library with multilingual books, and plenty of shops selling the ubiquitous clogs, tulip bulbs and cheese.
Booking.com’s range of Schiphol Airport hotels includes several on-site hotels. Others are in neighboring Hoofddorp, a town also within the area of the former lake, whose De Eersteling windmill overlooks a dike encircling a former fort.
Another windmill, the Molen van Sloten, is across a canal from Badhoevedorp on the airport’s north side. To the east, the huge Amsterdamse Bos forest is a haven of peace and tranquillity (apart from the occasional aircraft!) and borders Amstelveen. To the southwest is Aalsmeer, a town set on the huge Westeinderplassen Lake, and whose massive flower auction house receives daily consignments from all over the world.

we were disappointed and would probably not return to this hotel in the future. the property was clean and in a good area. the food we ordered was good. the shuttle to the airport was good and timely. the lack of information provided by the hotel was our biggest problem - for those who are savvy world travelers it would probably not have presented an issue but for two older people who are not familiar with the hotel a LOT of information would have been helpful.

I live in Germany and travel on business from Schiphol over the last 25 years. Schiphol is well organized and structure. It features short walkways to Terminals. Security checks durations are predictable and typically go prompt. You can get good snacks and meals in a variety of caffes and restaurants. I love Starbucks right in the middle of arrivals hall. I also love going for shopping - Rituals, Victoria Secrets, Electronics, travel bags, cosmetics, books and accessories.

It helps to have a little fore - knowledge about the airport for ease of finding your way. It's very well organized and has good small fresh food places . As far as airports go it is well planned, well laid out and very manageable.

The only thing I had problems with was locating pick up area for Uber cars. I lost my pick up and had to take taxi.
It is usually a friendly airport for travelers.
For the rest I have nothing to complain about

As a frequent traveler, I have had the pleasure of experiencing airports worldwide, and Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam consistently stands out as an exemplary hub that sets the bar high for international travel.
Schiphol Airport goes above and beyond in delivering an exceptional travel experience. Its commitment to efficiency, world-class facilities, innovative technology, cultural integration, and environmental sustainability make it a shining example of what an international airport should be. Whether you're a business traveler or a tourist, Schiphol's seamless operations and attention to detail ensure that your journey starts and ends on a high note. Highly recommended!
Lge 2 block hotel joined by corridor several floors up, on wider perimeter of Schiphol Airport. Reached by free shuttle.
Surprisingly and pleasantly quiet despite location also being next to a multi lane road.
Large well equipped en suite room, with comfortable large bed, good quiet a/c , TV, wifi and charge ports, etc.
Spa with small hot swimming pool.
Restaurant crowded as the trattoria was shut and extra guests from a cancelled flight, but staff cheerful and waiting times acceptable; menu reasonable.
Super location, well signed, and only 5 minute walk to the entrance to sprawling Schiphol airport. We had a 17 hour layover. We went into Amsterdam and back for a couple beers at a gezellig place. Much preferred staying here than a hotel in the city, less expensive, and also don't have to worry about what time to get up or train connections.
Very friendly and professional staff.
The hotel is very quiet to exterior noise. The mattress was very comfortable.
Connected to the airport arrivals terminal as well as the train station. Less than 4 minutes’ walk through a fully enclosed walkway and, the luggage trolley can be rolled all the way into the rooms without hindrance. Despite the vicinity to a very busy airport, rail station and walkways, the interior of the hotel, including room, is very quiet.
The property itself is in great condition, very clean and run by very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great job!
We always stay at Citizen M when we are flying through Amsterdam. Cheapest hotel walking distance from the airport. Rooms are on the small side, but beds are big and comfy and you have everything that you need. They even have a luggage room for large bags so that you do not have to take all luggage to your room. Breakfast is good. Bar and some bar food available in the evening.
The hotel met my expectations. It was very easy to get there from Schiphol train station and airport with the shuttle bus system.
The staff was very competent and helpful both at check-in and check-out, as well as organizing the taxi before the shuttle bus time, as well as organizing a very late dinner. Always with a friendly attitude.
The room was spacious and very clean.
I had a very good stay at the Ibis Styles Hotel. The room was cleaned daily. The area is pretty quiet. It is also nice how the hotel is close to the airport (10 minutes away) and there's a free service airport shuttle available which makes it convenient for first time travelers to Amsterdam. The hotel is also close to the bus station that takes you to the city center.
The room was comfortable, well appointed, and clean. Considering it was an airport hotel, the room was soundproof and I did not hear any planes and extremely little noise from the hotel itself. I had a decent night's sleep and although it was still a schlep to get to the terminal building in the morning, it was convenient.
A very good and comfortable option if you travel to or from Amsterdam airport. The only negative point is that there are fewer shuttles to that particular hotel than for the other Ibis, and that coming from the airport, it is the last one to be reached. So the wait may seem long when you arrive from a long flight.
If you need a stopover to sleep inside the airport, it would be convenient. I had a super early flight, but still had to go through passport control when switching terminals in the morning so probably staying at a more comfortable and cheaper hotel outside the actual airport would have saved as much time.
very convenient to the Schiphole airport snd train station. Three minute walk to both. so, easy access to your flights or train to downtown Amsterdam. excellent food court choices and shops in the concourse. There is a market in the concourse to buy food and other supplies.
With the current chaos at Schiphol airport one needs to check in very early necessitating to stay in a local hotel. Steigenberger is one of the best values for money, this my third time in two months and every time perfect
Great facility. Best hotel I stayed at with booking. SPA was great after a long day walking in the city.
Shuttle service was also very convenient. Used it to commute to the airport to take the train to Amsterdam.
Beautiful room that was spotless. Located less than 100 yards from the airport terminal, yet once in the hotel, you would never know that a major airport was right across the street.
Nice and clean hotel. 20min from/to the airport by free shuttle bus. Amsterdam and Rotterdam Centraal Stations easily accesible by frequent trains from Amsterdam airport.
