Breakfast was very good - big range of everything you could want. Staff generally friendly and helpful. Nice bar including outside area to sit in. Location is a little away from the centre and is in a relatively quiet business district - but that comes with a little peace and quiet and the fact that there's a metro station right next to you that takes you one stop in to the centre of Naples made it idea for us.

Perfect location in Naples, easy to walk to many key sites, located on a big piazza but amazing windows that kept out all the nighttime noise! Federica at the front desk went above and beyond to help us during our stay. Breakfast was fabulous with abundant, delicious options. Elevator was spacious and fast. Vibrancy, Vespas, Vesuvius

Undulating beside the Bay of Naples, this UNESCO World Heritage city is a maze of narrow streets and cable cars. Although it has an incredible array of churches and monuments, it’s the sheer energy, pulsating life, and buzz of Vespas that really make it exciting.

At first you could mistake this for chaos, but given time you’ll see there’s method to the madness. The stunning, curved portico of the Royal Palace. The perfectly thin pizzas which originated here. The red pepper trinkets to ward off the evil eye adorning practically every old town doorway. All are crafted to perfection.

While all this goes on at street level, below is Underground Naples – a series of tunnels you can visit and even a Graeco-Roman theater which you stop at before emerging into someone’s house!

Head up to the Posillipo area for stunning views of the city and Vesuvius in the distance. The volcano itself can be visited and looking down from it towards Pompeii and Herculaneum gives context to the thousands of artifacts now on display in the city’s National Archaeological Museum.

    Naples is 1/10 experience - this city is dirty as a garbage dump, with many impudent drivers, especially those scooter riders who would drive into you at any possible moment. Car/motors use the horn as a hi/bye, which makes the city super noisy and annoying. At any given point, I was convinced that I was somewhere in India, rather than in Europe.

    Centro Storico/Duomo and surrounding areas are lively and enjoyable to walk around. Food is incredible and the city is fun in the evenings. If you can't handle crowds or the grimy nature of a port city then you will struggle.

    We stayed in the historical centre and felt very safe walking around. there were plenty of places to eat. the city is very walkable. we bought a 24hr hop on hop off bus tour which was great and allowed us to travel around all the sights, my wife sprained her ankle so the bus tour was very helpful. People are very friendly

    Naples - a city full of interesting and diverse people who are talented in their crafts. Great food, especially the pizzas. Streets are full of cars and motorcycles cutting and weaving through the congested streets full of vehicles and people.

    A vibrant city full of life, with lots of historical sights. We especially liked the visit to Teatro di San Carlo. and Galeria Umbertto. Great food everywhere! Brioche, pizza, icecream... We reccommend Isabella De Cham Pizza Fritta. It is easy to reach Pompeii by train at Piazza Garibaldi.

    Naples is a great city break - not as polished as Rome or Venice but has plenty of charm and lots to see and experience. Felt totally safe walking everywhere and had friendly service, great food and a fabulous time. Highly recommend Naples for a long weekend break or tie a trip to one of the islands as well - Ischia was beautiful.
