Very kindly allowed us to early check in and leave luggage in our room while we went to the market! Room was very clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Through no fault of the hotel we got a little sidelined by a large triathlon on our return in the afternoon!

Probably one of the best children friendly hotel we stayed in in Portugal. Might be busy in the summer, but we love it outside the season! (We went last year in November as well and we loved it).
The “family room” meant 2 normal/double bed rooms with a door in the middle! Which was fantastic, but not clearly described when booked!
The staff was friendly and relaxed.
We also had a family ticket to the indoor waterpark included in the booking for 2 nights (a nice surprise, I didn’t see this info when booked!).
The indoor waterpark is great for kids, plus, it is THE ONLY INDOOR WATERPARK in Portugal and Spain, as far as I know… We were happy to be almost alone there, but also sad about the “low” marketing of the place.

It felt like a chilled relaxed area, a lovely promenade to walk along, plenty of restaurants to choose from. This was my first solo trip and I felt very safe, I would definitely come back here and do some of the activities on offer. There is huge selection of restaurants and bars to choose. Generally the quality is very good and cleanliness is good. Fish restaurants near the port are really good. If you like cooking there is the fish and veg markets, you can buy fresh fish daily as it is a working fishing port, also there is a large open air produce market about 500m from the port every Wednesday with many stalls. The old town has more character and little bars and cafes where you can get a better feel of portugues culture. Venture into the side streets.

We loved the location.
We loved the location. Grocery, pharmacy, dental, were all accessible without needing a car. If you had a car other places like Albuferia, Loule, Lagos, Paderne, Faro, Fuzeta, Santa Luzia, Tavira are within an hour drive or you can take the bus. You can walk to Villamoura along the boardwalk which is about 2.5 km away. Weather was perfect for Dec-Feb, 15-25 degrees C.SharonCanada

Helpful staff, nice garden and pool area and good breakfasts al fresco. Free Wifi and parking. Bike hire was easy. Hotel free shuttle bus down to Quarteira beach 4 times a day. Ubers readily available which we used to go on a day hike in the hills a few miles away. Nice traditional taverna just a couple of hundred metres south for an alternative evening meal. All in all a very good inexpensive 3-star hotel.

There wasn't one member of staff that made you feel anything other than important. They were all kind, helpful and friendly, I don't think I've ever met such a lovely staff anywhere else. The hotel is immaculately clean, fresh and bright, rooms are practical and the showers are amazing. The maids do a fabulous job and made you feel cared for. Breakfast has a wide choice of breads, fruit, meats, eggs, cheese.and pastries.

Apartment had great facilities to do your own cooking, all utensils/fridge/freezer/cooker/pots/pans etc - incredibly useful for when you don't want to eat out every meal.

If you have access to a car, this is a great place to stay in Quarteira as the city/beach is only a 5-minute drive.
