Rooms are basic but adequately appointed and spotlessly clean and well maintained. The breakfast is very good - a wonderful continental style breakfast with an array of wonderful food at a great price. Location is fantastic for exploring Bergerac and the surrounding area and very convenient for a range of shops and restaurants.

The hotel is clean but must have been renovated long long time ago. The rules are correct and clean really not very stylish. The pool area was very nice.
The hotel is located in three minutes walking distance to the centre which is very convenient.
We also like the fact that for €10, we had a secure parking spot.
The hotel looks more like a one or two star hotel

The historic town of Bergerac is a great place to visit.
The historic town of Bergerac is a great place to visit. Lots of interesting architecture and local culture to explore. There is quite a big street market held once or twice a week. Plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes. A very welcoming tourist destination.

The town is beautiful.
The town is beautiful. There are many shops, and beautiful architecture everywhere you look. There are some of the finest restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. The people everywhere are very friendly and everyone seems happy. It was like walking around in a painting. It was unforgettable.

Beautiful town with lots of interesting buildings.
Beautiful town with lots of interesting buildings. Nice bars and restaurants. We found opening times of restaurants and shops unpredictable. Enough to do for a few days. Nice river trip and prebooked taxi from airport was convenient.

So many things to see and do in the area.
So many things to see and do in the area. Bordeaux and Burgundy get lots of press for their wines. The surrounding vineyards of the Bergerac region are superb and accessible. They wine you sample ranges from good to out of this world; the stories you hear at each vineyard are full of the passion the people convey about their work and the results.
In addition, the cultural sites were fun with many to choose from. Our only concern is that we traveled in early October. Some sites change or close at that time. Their websites weren't up to date so we showed up to several only to find them closed for the season.

A wonderfully set village on a picturesque river.
A wonderfully set village on a picturesque river. The bridge is beautifully lit at night. Several great dining options and the local wine selections are very good and affordable. The people of Bergerac were kind and welcoming.

Beautiful small old town in SW France.
Beautiful small old town in SW France. No hustle and bustle of a large city which made for a very relaxing stay. Close to numerous wineries and other destinations for a day visit. There is ample parking very close to the town centre (400+ places, and free!). Park the car and walk! Highly recommend this picturesque town and neighbouring region for a short visit.
An absolutely beatiful property close enough to the centre of Bergerac but also peaceful. The garden is such a lovely space to have breakfast or read or enjoy the pool. The hosts are fantastic, very welcoming and also made some suggestions for things to do which were spot on. Even the dog is fab- she knows her audience and was wonderfully patient and gentle with a very small child who was staying. Lovely breakfast too. A winner.
Hotel newly built. Location for walking around good BUT almost impossible to get there with the car to unload. The guest I traveled is handicaped. They gave her a room at the top - even so the lady showed them the hadicap ID. The stairs are so small - no elevator or help with suitcase. Breakfast - not good at all. The staff not there or not speaking any of the common languages - French, English etc. Cannot recommend this hotel
Lovely little hotel in an excellent position in Bergerac. The welcome was very good and the receptionist was very happy to organise an earlier than usual breakfast sitting for us due to our early flight time. Very welcoming couple. We discussed returning to explore and spend the weekend in Bergerac and we would definitely book the Hotel de France. PS Newly refurbished bathrooms very nice indeed.
Location is quiet ,no traffic noise . We had the superior room which was very spacious . Breakfast is continental with plenty of choice . Walk into old town with its numerous shops and restaurants is about 15 /20 minutes on level ground . English couple who run the hotel are very good hosts and have local knowledge they are keen to share .We hired a car and there is
ample parking space .
The property was beautiful, set in the centre of Bergerac and incredibly accessible. The room was the most beautiful hotel room, with incredible attention to detail. The breakfast was fantastic, especially the homemade yoghurt. The best part was the owners, who were incredibly accommodating. If people are looking for places in Bergerac, I couldn’t recommend anything better.

Amazingly well outfitted flat in a central location, walkable to restaurants and train station. Large 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment with large living areas and nice outdoor seating. Incredibly clean, nicely decorated, high quality finishes, and a great flexible host. Quiet at night. Highly recommend and would stay here again.
The hotel is in a great location and it takes no more than five/ten minutes to walk to all the town centre and a wide choice of bars and restaurants. The pool area is lovely and a nice spot to catch the afternoon sun. We had breakfast every day and would thoroughly recommend it ; great choice and very good value for money.
A very lucky find. Right on the edge of the town with easy walk to the centre of Bergerac. This is a beautiful property and our room was gorgeous, although we did have to share a toilet and bathroom, but this was not an issue. Our hosts were lovely and very welcoming. Perfect base for exploring Bergerac.
every bit as good as it looks on the photos. Absolutely beautiful apartment. Tastefully furnished with everything you need. Everything seemed to be brand new. Perfect location too for Bergerac old town. Private underground car park about 30 metres away which is accessed by the remote key at the property.
The location was perfect as only a 10 min walk along the river into the Old Town. The room was fantastic & breakfast was great. Our hosts, Jenny & Nick, were very welcoming and helpful. We'd highly recommend R&R Bergerac as a place to stay.
Close walking distance to center of town and the train station both. The facilities were updated beautifully and modern. Bed was so comfortable and linens wonderful. They were the same quality as the 4 star Paris hotel I am staying in.
Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. The street the hotel was on was a bit run down and not visually pleasant but we never felt unsafe. It was a very easy walk walk to the old town and the staff was very friendly.
The hotel manager Mika although a very busy man working within the hotel was friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable good location for gare Bergerac and five minutes walk to town centre.
Location is superb , a couple of minutes and you are in an area of restaurants/ bars / shops .
Hotel staff are very friendly and hospitable , very clean and buffer breakfast is very good.
It was beautiful! It had everything. It was right in the centre of the old town so perfect for getting around on foot. It was super close to everything.
