The highlight was the great customer service and ambience in the restaurant and bar. The breakfast spread was quite good. The location is great too with a lot of shops, restaurants and the Wexford harbour a stone's throw away.

The room was comfortable, clean bed linen, nice layout. The ac worked, the electric kettle was good, and the safe worked, too.
The bartender was polite and very helpful.
The restaurant was good.

Easy check in, great hosts, tons of information in the booklet in your room to give you the history of the grounds. Absolutely recommend doing the walk around the farm, bonus treat is Daisy (the puppy) meets you and gives you the tour! Walking through the castle was awesome, understandably you can't go to the outside of the very top but such a great property. I didn't partake in the breakfast but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Quick cab into town and you are ready to explore!
On Wexford's historic Main Street, Bugler Doyles Bar & Townhouse offers free WiFi access throughout, a bar, and a terrace. The property is surrounded by shops and restaurants.

We walked the length of the Quays looking @ the sea & back up through the town. Very easy to get around! Many coffee shops & pubs on the way.
Will definitely be back very soon!
Well done Wexford!

I lived there for seven years and I miss it. If you have not been go there. It has everything you need in a town. All shops are accessible by walking. It has a very good nightlife and you will not be stuck to find a good restaurant. The people there are very friendly. Fantastic beaches within a short drive. The problem when I go there I spend too much lol.

We went to Wexford for the annual Opera Festival. The Opera House is delightful. Wexford itself is a vibrant place with lots of independent shops and restaurants and an interesting history dating back to Viking times. Of particular note was a restaurant called Jaspers (booking essential) in the Crown Quarter.
Lots of parking facilities and a compact town so easy to walk round.

Wexford is a beautiful harbour town with a great mix of shops. Lots of bars, which have plenty of live music each night, including 'Trad Nights' with traditional Irish music, also lots of eateries, sights to see, art galleries and a National Opera House. The twin churches are very pretty, make for a beautiful photograph from a distance and are both worth a look inside to make comparisons. It's only a short walk between the two. The short drive over Wexford Bridge towards Ferrybank takes you to the beach where the opening scene from Saving Private Ryan was filmed and in the other direction towards Rosslare, if you drive past Kelly's resort Hotel and keep on going and going along the little peninsula, there is a very interesting Lifeboat Memorial to be seen which looks over towards Wexford itself.

Wexford was just a stopover for us on the way to other places. We arrived at night and left in the morning. I think a day or two would have been good to explore, but we simply didn’t have time this trip.
The Faythe Guesthouse was the perfect place to stay in Wexford. The room was small but big enough to be comfortable and the library provides a nice place to sit and read outside of the room. The owners are hospitable and pleasant to talk with. The gardens are beautiful with a broad variety of plants, especially shrubs. The breakfast was delicious and filling. The central historic part of Wexford is a 5 minute walk and a large grocery store is a 5 minute walk away in the opposite direction direction. Wonderful 3 days in Wexford.
The hosts are absolutely superb, so friendly, welcoming & helpful. The lodge is exceptionally well stocked with essentials & a few extras too & the property is right in the heart of beautiful countryside, so it's quiet & peaceful. There are a couple of shops & a pharmacy within 1 km for convenience. It's in a great location for touring the lovely county that is Wexford & beyond.
Beautiful country house hotel with friendly hosts and an abundant, delicious breakfast. thoughtful touches like tea and coffee and biscuits available all day. We travel with our dog and had a separate breakfast area which meant total relaxation. A short stroll down the hill takes you to the Wexford Walking Trail, which provides off lead possibilities for any holidaying Fido!
This renovated gatehouse from the mid 1800's was the perfect place to spend our week in Wexford. Located close to everything. Walk to all. Ultra modern appliances. Washer/dryer, dishwasher, kitchen, and large screen tv. Strong Wifi. I was able to work remotely during the day from my laptop. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful.
The room was spacious, comfortable and well furnished. The beds were excellent with soft pillows. Staff very kind and friendly. There is a large private parking. The area is very quiet.
The hotel is in the city centre and Wexford main tourist attractions are within 15’ walking distance.
I travel a lot to Wexford but this was my first time staying here. It was good value for money, the room was nice and clean and the staff were very helpful. While not located in the town centre, it provides a good base for the region, which was what i needed.
parking was convenient and inexpensive next door to hotel. The downstairs Restaurant and Bar was very cool vibe with a great Menu. The room was decorated in a fun eclectic vibe and it was pleasantly spotless which felt great after a long drive.
It was a cheap getaway for a night in comparison to most hotels in Wexford. Ate at the restaurant and the food was lovely, the room we stayed in was lovely and all the staff were incredibly pleasant. Not a single thing I didn't like.
The staff, the food, the room, the courtyard. Lovely hotel - don't be put off by the rather uninspiring colour of the outside. I hope to go back again for a longer stay. From a driving aspect, ideally placed to avoid the town centre.
First class from start to finish.
Family run operation that stands out a mile, staff couldn't do enough for us, accommodation beautiful, food and drink excellent. Hospitality like no other, Wexford town centre hotels take note !
We were returning guests. As in previous stays we were warmly welcomed and treated like old friends.
Jenny on Reception is a great asset to the hotel and indeed, to Wexford. We look forward to returning for another stay.p
Lovely small hotel at the edge of Wexford town. Food good in the restaurant with breakfast freshly cooked. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good parking facilities. Rooms spacious and very clean.
Nothing to like Newbay House cancelled my reservation the day before we were to arrive and gave us a complimentary stay in their sister hotel in wexford, which was a disaster!!!
The room was nice and the pool facilities were very good. Had an early start to catch a ferry so the hotel did us a packed breakfast with fresh coffee at no extra charge.
