A bustling small city, Eindhoven is the "Capital of Dutch Design" and home to the Design Academy. It houses a renowned technical university, and is a European technological hub that makes it shine with modern buildings and venues. The 5th-largest city in the Netherlands has also become popular for the fast-growing Eindhoven Airport.
Although it gained its city rights in 1232, until the foundation of the Philips Company in 1891 it was still a small village. Encompassing the growth of the company, at the beginning of the 21st century its population had jumped to 200,000 people.
Nowadays, it still attracts companies and people wanting to develop themselves in the fields of creativity and innovation. The Dutch Design Week is a famous event that takes place in October, while contemporary media, art and technology inspire the city’s agenda throughout the year.
Choosing hotels in central Eindhoven is the best way to have everything at hand. However, hotels or B&Bs near the train station or Eindhoven Airport are also a good option to avoid last-minute rushes. Check out Booking.com’s deals before you travel!

Its right on the airport terminal, so good for catching an early flight.
The room is basic but comfortable.
The biggest negative is that the hotel does not offer dinner and you can only get some fast food in the area. The airport restaurant ( snacks and pizza only) closes at 20:00 and the there is only MD close by.

Eindhoven is a great place to come and shop, take in a leisurely meal, and just relax. Everyone is very friendly and although its outward appearance is not as pretty as Amsterdam or as large as Rotterdam it still has a charm that keeps drawing me back. There is something for everyone here and you can take in a football match at PSV or a music event at Dynamo, it is a young vibrant city with a very nice up-and-coming area at the old Philips site - Strijp S
Don't forget to check out the DAF and Philips museums - really good day out

A truly unremarkable town.
A truly unremarkable town. We had to walk for 12 minutes even to get to a coffee. A US diplomate once described the Cold War West German Capital of Bonn as "Half as big as an average cemetery in Chicago, but double as dead". Eindhoven meets this description as well. I will never consider staying or passing through there again.

Eindhoven is a small but nice city.
Eindhoven is a small but nice city. There are plenty of places to eat and have a drink. Everything is within walking distance. The Philips Museum was interesting and I enjoyed the walk to Strijp S. I found the city to be a bit expensive eating out but that is due to higher wages in the Netherlands. It is not a very touristy city. We struggled to find a place to buy a magnet and ended up finding one in the central station bookshop for almost 5 euro! We like to collect magnets so of course we got it. I think Eindhoven is worth visiting for 1 day and its location is useful to travel to other cities. For example we went to Antwerp by train and it was a pretty short journey.
The pub street was a bit of an anti-climax. I had read that it has the most pubs etc but it was really dull and we went in August on a weekend, so I expected it to be more lively.

In our trip to Amsterdam We have the flight to and from Eindhoven so we booked this hotel which was perfect choice for our needs, near city center and near the train station to go out for our trip.
The facilities of the rooms and hotel too, so the breakfast which was perfect. I will recommend to all, that have the same way of trip to visit Netherland.
The hotel is situated in a business area very close to Eindhoven Airport, one stop by bus or 10 minutes by walk, so we had no worries about transfer on our arrival or departure. The good thing is that check out time is up to 12:00. Restaurant and bar are very nice, food is good (tasty and well presented), prices reasonable, and restaurant/bar staff are extraordinary professional, nice and kind.
3 minute walk from Eindhoven Central station, and around a 5 minute walk to the city centre shopping area.
Reception desk staff very helpful and friendly, Coffee shop, bar and small food kitchen on the ground floor. Good value for money.
Room was on the upper floor (22nd) and spotlessly clean. Fully accessible bathroom for those that may need it. Parking adjacent to the hotel.
The hotel is close to both the City centre and the station all within walking distance ! first class stay in very a clean accommodation who serves breakfast to your room at extra cost but well worth it ! when visiting Eindhoven again we will return the the Hotel Glow and without question would recommend to others .
The hotel is located in main Eindhoven square. It's surrounded by bars, which may get busy during the night but there is no that much noise. The check in/out were very fast and pleasant. Close to the hotel is a bus station to/from Airport, and the Main train station is 5min walk as well.
The hotel is nice, located wright in the center of the city and about 10 mi utes from the Centraal Station.
The room is quite spacious and it was very comfortable.
The staff was also very friendly.
We will gladly return here when in Eindhoven.
I enjoyed the very comfortable bed and pillow. The room was very clean. It is located is a very quiet area. The facilities were quite OK.
Location is very close to the Eindhoven Airport (5-10 minute drive) which was excellent.
Hotel Nassau is located in a perfect position, all around you can find restaurants and bars and it's a few minutes walking to the train station and to the city centre.
The room was daily cleaned and very quite by night.
The hotel was located at the airport. It was surprising you didn't hear any airport sounds. In the hall downstairs there are a variety of shops. Everything you need in a room was available. The beds were comfy.
Location was great. Right in the center of Eindhoven. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We skipped breakfast so no info about this. Good value for money. Would totally recommend this hotel.
The hotel was beautiful in- & outside.
Close to the station en city centre.
Free wellness and gym you can use and delicious breakfast(try the banana-strawberry smoothie!! It’s so good)
