Most has been said - the stunning view from the kitchen, the facilities, spacious rooms, cleanliness and attention to detail. Plus Hilltop is just a couple of minutes' walk from the centre of Llandeilo which is great when you are only there for a couple of days. PLUS, an important consideration for us is to have a secure environment for our 2 small dogs. Hilltop fulfilled this and it was a joy to see the dogs scamper down the steps and play ball on the grassy area below. We have booked another (longer) stay at Hilltop later this year as Llandeilo is such a central location that the surrounding areas are within easy driving (or walking) distance.

Not being a 100% sure on what to expect, I bought a small fresh loaf and butter from the bakers in Llandeilo, but the host provided a fine continental breakfast with extra items also, which would've been fine for me.
I was certainly made welcome by the host.
Lovely clean & comfortable, quiet house, with WIFI and TV, and parking available.
My collie was also made very welcome.
The location was perfect for the Brecon Beacons, and the small town of Llandeilo only a mile away had all the amenities I could wish for.

Like many of the previous guests who signed the Visitors' book, my daughter and I were sorry not to be staying for longer! It's a beautiful place,
with a lovely homely feel to it, but also decorated and equipped with excellent taste. We didn't have occasion to use the kitchen but could see that it was well-equipped and would be great to use. We hope to come back!

Llandeilo is a lovely market town, set on a hill with the majestic River Towy below, meandering West to Carmarthen. There are many places to eat from a quick snack to à la carte meals. It is reasonably easy to walk around the town, where you'll find many interesting shops. You might be surprised what you find at Peppercorn, Barr & Co, Rig Out Boutique, Toast, Mari Thomas Jewellery, The little Welsh Dresser, to name a few. We love it ... and would live there if the house we fancied hadn't been sold the day before we saw it. But we visit from afar every 2-3 months. Walkable with interesting shops, especially the craft shop and gallery with the work of many local artists and craftspeople. Provision & Pitchfork is a great stop for deli supplies & excellent breads, as well as snacky meals and good coffee. For garden lovers, nearby Aberglasney Gardens is a must visit.

Location, about 1 mile from town centre (uphill and downhill) pleasant walk passed entrance to Dinefwr Castle. Ruined Norman castle overlooking the River Tywi magnificent viewpoint able to climb ramparts to have best views entrance to castle is free but parking at National Trust carpark only free to members. There is a deer park and woodland walks with a boardwalk to a secluded lake. Also a NT house which we have not visited due to time pressure on us.
The views from town centre 'valley-side' back streets also impressive.
Room was pleasant and clean but very plain and functional for the price. Dinner was fair value but we had to ask twice for a table outside that we had already booked and had confirmed by the hotel by email prior to arrival. Breakfast was not good. Mushroom omelette was very dry. Smashed avocado on muffins had chopped tomato mixed with the avocado which made the muffins very soggy. Toast was very standard mass produced bread. Staff were friendly anf helpful. Location is good for an overnight stopover. No road noise heard.

The location was perfect for the Brecon Beacons, and the small town of Llandeilo only a mile away had all the amenities I could wish for.
This was an absolutely exceptional home to stay in. It was comfortable, well stocked with what you would need, and had plenty of room. Llandeilo is a small town, and it was quiet and relaxing, a very nice respite. The view from the rooms is a beautiful church, and while some might think having a graveyard across the street is creepy, it wasnt. The whole atmosphere of a small town with a country church, quiet streets... well it was exactly what we were looking for.
Great location, just a short drive to the nearby village with lots to do. Huge garden area with a cosy BBQ hut. Lots of amenities supplied (wooden skewers to roast marshmallows. Coal, firelighters, wood and matches to start the BBQ. Tea, coffee, sugar as well as lots of condiments. There was lots of cooking equipment (toaster, air fryer, toasty maker) making it very easy to cook; it was like everything had been thought about!!
We spent a night at Carreglwyd and we loved it. This is a beautiful annex to a lovely cottage. The space was perfect for us travelling as a couple. The garden outside is beautiful and there is also a BBQ hut. The location is quiet and we had a great night sleep. On top of all of this the host is very kind and was very easy to communicate with her. I can definitely recommend Carreglwyd also for longer stays.
This house was larger than expected settled between lovely towns and country sides. Very well equipped and a nice welcome package. Owner is super nice and easy to contact. Nive ammendities for adults and children even on rainy days. I enjoyed not having to supply our own towels, pillows and bedding. Also enjoyed the outdoor space. Wifi was good for us. We would stay here again.
The location was prime! We were literally in the middle of the village, walking distance to shopping, restaurants, the park, grocery stores, parking, and pubs. The flat is adorably decorated and has everything you might need. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was lovely. The rooms were spacious. There were many suggestions for activities and things to see and do.
Lovely Bach in a beautiful area tucked away on a working farm. Bats and birds around
Parking right next to door, safe parking, and easy for offloading.
The hut was very well stocked and left with breakfast basics - we enjoyed our free-range eggs.
Warm and cosy with a comfortable bed and lovely hot shower
10/10, we will be back x
Very comfortable and well appointed with great location and views. Spacious property which was furnished and finished to a very high standard with several bathrooms, which was ideal for a large group. Spacious dining area with fantastic views across the valley added to the occasion.
Breakfast was nice. Room was really comfortable and clean. The pub downstairs was nice and cosy. And the location was great, being near to Llandelio and not too far a drive from Carmarthen. And there was plenty of parking space.
Beautifully decorated and appointed... everything was top notch. Jordan was communicative and helpful, without disrupting our stay. Excellent location... Llandeilo was delightful. Would definitely return. Loads of space too!
Super comfy, clean and well equipped space located in a beautiful part of Wales. The caravan is set in its own secluded and lush meadow with access to a covered outdoor space with fire bowl
and seating area for hanging out.
The one bedroom apartment was spectacular! Huge lounge and bedroom, luxurious bathroom and a useful kitchen area. Superb location in the heart of Llandeilo. Breakfast was excellent- best porridge I have ever had!
