Clean and attractively decorated interior. Great pub! One of our favorite accommodations during our 2 week tour of England and Scotland. Friendly staff and patrons!
Built in 1841, this Grade II listed building has retained many period features, with converted and tastefully furnished interiors creating the warm and friendly atmosphere.

We liked that the local parking we used for the van was even accessible for campers. The community was really friendly, lots of people with dogs going about their day. The local Booths was a great place to get meals. We liked the kitchen so much that we didn’t go out for food locally but both pubs in the area looked quality! The roads there are small but manageable and that’s the feeling you want from a place like that anyway. I like that ours close enough for a day out around Malham. The crag walk at the top of the village also suffices for a viewpoint.

Great little town with good amenities.
Great little town with good amenities. Lot of great walks nearby. The Talbot pub good atmosphere and food, the Old naked man cafe and shop is good but have a look down the backstreets for small local independents. A walk along the river and into nearby Giggleswick is worth a visit, find Russel Harty's grave in Giggleswick church yard and have a pint in the Black Horse next door

I have never seen so many quilted jackets and boots! lol VERY popular with walkers but very quaint and bijou. It's perfectly formed and self-contained but not many options of anything Three pubs and about thirty shops. It ain't Las Vegas! but that's its charm.

Settle is a lovely and friendly market town.
Settle is a lovely and friendly market town. There are lots of great places to eat - the sit-in fish and chip shop was wonderful and Sunday lunch at the Golden Lion was great value. There are walks, of all ability levels, from the town and the Victoria Hall offers great live entertainment. There are some nice independent shops, great local butcher, as well as a couple of good supermarkets. All in all, a great place to visit.

There are lots of shops, except charity ones, just Age Concern and Swimming Baths ones. Plenty cafes, pubs, good chippy {Fisherman} but locals are not friendly. Dislike tourists? Come from Clitheroe and locals TALK to them. Not here.
This was the second time I've stayed at the Golden Lion this year and it was every bit as good as the first! There always seems to be a warm atmosphere here with a nice buzz which the friendly staff help to create. Our room was large and very comfortable though because it was at the front there was some traffic noise. Dinner was delicious and I can heartily recommend the Settle Pudding. Parking is easy enough in a large public car park behind the houses opposite the hotel.
Beautiful building set in countryside that equally matches the same description.
We loved our stay at Falcon manor Hotel and used it as a base for exploring the surrounding area.
The breakfast was exceptional and set you up for a days walking. The room itself was comfortable with lovely views over the dales.
The staff were very accomodating and nothing was too much trouble.
We will certainly keep this hotel on the shortlist when visiting this area in the future.
Lovely quiet location tucked away from the road with gorgeous view of Penyghent and hills from bedroom. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Large living room and dining area. Well equipped kitchen. Close to station if travelling by train. Friendly owner lives next door if you need anything. Horton is a picturesque village where many people start the 3 peaks but we went to Chapel le Dale which was an easy journey.
Dinner (not included) and breakfast (included) were both excellent, with a good selection of beer at the bar. The manager (Michelle) and all staff were very friendly and helpful, steering us to the Settle Social Club where we could watch a football match we were interested in.
Warm and cozy B&B. The hosts, Jackie and Chris were so lovely and helpful. Perfect breakfast! They have a lot of choices that you can choose from. My room was very clean and comfortable. Great location for walking around Settle. Private car park. Highly recommended!!!
Fabulous manor house that has been beautifully converted to a hotel and restaurant/bar. It is also a wedding venue. The real candlelight every evening is magical. The staff was attentive yet not invasive. It was relaxing to be a guest there.
Perfect location close to the town centre but tucked away in a quiet area with a great cafe opposite. Attention to detail was spot on-well equipped kitchen and cosy lounge and sleeping quarters. Nice decor and comfortable bed.
The breakfast at this property was outstanding. The hosts were very friendly and knew the area.well, the location of this property is also perfect for everything. I would highly recommend it to anybody visiting settle.
Good price in that area and not far from some of the attractions like Craven Lime Works, Victoria Cave and Malham Cove. Peoples are friendly, small local pub inside the hotel are nice. enjoyable good quality breakfast.
Lovely welcoming hotel, owners couldn’t do enough for us, dog welcome everywhere. Food great, good atmosphere in bar. Perfect base for exploring, Malham, three peaks, 20 minute drive. 10 minute walk into Settle
The location is perfect for a visit to Settle and surrounding area. The key code and parking instructions were simple and easy to follow. The accommodation is very clean with lovely furnishings.
Great location and beautifully decorated cottage. The place is really well set up and had everything we needed. Settle itself is a lovely market town and the Dales are incredible
The one bedroom apartment is very modern and contemporary, very comfortable and in a good location in Settle. It is close to restaurants and the flat has very good facilities.
Clean and attractively decorated interior. Great pub! One of our favorite accommodations during our 2 week tour of England and Scotland. Friendly staff and patrons!
