Cheap and clean. The breakfast was huge. The hotel is located at the corner of a nicely Christmas decorated park. On the opposite side of the park there was a small pizzeria where the pasta we had was one of the best I've ever tasted.

Hotel is located by a lake in a quiet wooded area. The interior of the hotel is really beautiful. Room and all the public spaces were very clean. Room was spacious and well equipped with a kettle and coffee maker etc. Pool area was nice and cozy. Staff was very friendly. Only one of the restaurant staff didn't speak English but we managed never the less. Breakfast buffet had a great selection and was tasty.

A very nice city situated on 3 lakes with tour boats to take you on a nice trip on those lakes. I pretty much ate my meals at the Pensjonat Zagielek where I was staying as their restaurant serves delicious meals. They even have daily specials a few days of the week. It is an easy walk or drive to the downtown area with mostly flat ground. A very scenic city. Well marked road signs for getting back onto highways .

If you like water, you will be ok for swimming here, but also all possible water sports and co-called "rejsy" - every possible water transport to take a tour. you even can get a motor boat !!without!! a license, to rent for a trip on the lake.linasLithuania - 10Scored 10

Great little town with everything you need. Plaza miejska and port were our best places to wander. Around. The region is known for sailing activities, mushroom picking great walks and local beers... hence it ticked all the boxes in our book :)) It would be great to return one day with our own yacht or boat and just chill in these romance/mysterious/forestry surroundings of Augustow Lake Land... Beautiful city. Very clean and peaceful. Full of greenery and beautiful waters. I highly recommend a restaurant called "Na widelcu" English translation "on the fork" , amazing organic cousin , great atmosphere and excellent food.

We explored the nearby national park which is amazing for bird watching before travelling on to Lithuania. Augustow town centre is very pretty and had a small market. The apartment is compact and nicely furnished. The shower was great and the kitchen had everything we needed. Parking for our 2 motorcycles was on their paved drive behind a secure gate. All in all a great visit and very good value for money.

The room was even worster than other guest have described: damaged, missing and uncomfortable installed furniture. At the check-in desk staff was able to speak one of the four world languages only: polish fluently. At the restaurant the same situation plus a hard reduced menu offer.

The spa section with the small pool was also very relaxing. Breakfast was the expected Polish style breakfast, complete with the sweet cheese filled pancakes.
