Hotel is in a good location and walkable to beach, restaurants, shopping and the pier. But hotel was run down and needs a major update & upgrade. Front desk was not responsive to report of noisy guests next to us.

Compared to the rest of Southern California, it was pleasant. I noticed the cleanliness, no graffiti, and the traffic flowed well. There was adequate choices of shopping and restaurants. Nice and pleasant over all. It wasn't infested with gangs like the rest of the state is. OOPS, I forgot, that is who runs that state!

The receptionist was friendly and efficient, it’s in a good prime position but Needs serious work to make it decent ( clean and in good repair)
Very dated and dirty - pool was closed by authorities only a week ago because of this
Sofa in the room was disgustingly dirty and the carpet was filthy
The hairdryer did work it only if you held a button in the whole time ( almost impossible to use) my husband had to press in the button while I dried my hair !
2 nights here was way too long
Being charged $30 to park was poor too and of our 6 week trip this is the only place we paid to park in the grounds

I can't stop bragging about the location of this property.
I can't stop bragging about the location of this property. It was within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Since the dog beach is only about 1.5 miles away the dogs had a great time meeting new friends. The price was reasonable and I would absolutely stay again and again and again!! Don't miss out on this hidden gem!

The thing about Huntington Beach is if you come on a Monday, it’s not as crowded as the weekend. On Tuesdays nights, they have a little festival for the locals with crafts paintings really amazing food and multiple entertainers an old classic rock band with too many more features to acknowledge, this is on Main Street I came to go surf the pier and it was the best. I also went to Costa Mesa to see the Chargers football training camp which is only 10 minutes away. Definitely recommend Huntington Beach everybody’s really nice.

Room was great! 10th floor in the Huntington Beach tower overlooking the pool, and view of the beach. Pool was great. I can't believe it was so warm for being so big. The only reason I couldn't give you a 10 was because the slides didn't work. We really looked forward to using them with our kids. We were there for our 18th year wedding anniversary, and since we live in HB we figured why not bring the kids till 5pm or so. Anyways can't wait to go back. Everything just went the way i had dreamed. Thank you....
I liked the location of the hotel, close to all the shops, which were within walking distance of the hotel.
The breakfast selection was great, hot food had a different variation each day :). Maria kept the hot food station well stocked for everyone, she is a lovely friendly lady.
Vivianne is the nicer of the two day time receptionists. The gentleman that checked me in after 17:00 was very nice too, he made sure that I was informed of everything I might need to know during my say.
There are a lot of pros and cons to this hotel. Some of the benefits are a great location in a good neighborhood with a lot of amenities very close by. The hotel lobby itself is small, but very nicely decorated. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful and free parking is another plus. The price was excellent as well. The pool was ok and was a bit heated, so that was nice. The on-site bar was a nice amenity, although it’s only open from 6-10PM and is a bit pricey.
1.)I have some mobility issues and they have rooms on the ground floor which are only separated from the parking lot by a sidewalk. This makes it much easier to deal with bags.
2.)The maids and front desk people were all very nice and helpful. They gave great suggestions for places to eat, etc.
3.)The mattress was great, one of the nicest, firm mattresses I've had in a motel or hotel.
4.)The mini frig was a fairly good sized one and the microwave newer.
The hotel room was immaculate with maid service daily. The room was really big too with great views of the bay. All appliances worked and are up to date. The lighting is great with dimming options as well. All the corners were clean and not overlooked like most hotels, even really expensive nice ones. Truly clean hotel and the staff was also very friendly.
Huntington Beach is one of my favorite places to stay. Located at the end of Beach Blvd. bridge across PCH cal highway 1 takes you to the sand. Walking distance to everything HB. US open surf, Air Show, Beach Volleyball, beach fire pits and the pier! Shopping, restaurant and relaxation. Bear Flag tacos my personal favorite.
Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food in the hotel restaurant. The hotel was also very generous. Bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels were supplied at no additional cost. Happy hour food and beverages, as well as s'mores, were offered as well as games for guests on the patio.
Spotlessly clean boutique hotel in the quirky Sunset Beach area. Almost on the beach. Rooms are large and have a balcony, many with an ocean view. Staff is attentive and friendly.
The room size was adequate for a queen bed. I came to Huntington Beach for a race and I was allowed to stay an extra hour to shower and rest a little before a long drive home.
Location for Beach, Pier & Main Street was excellent. Room size met our needs, was clean & tidy. The view from the communal deck of The Sunset over the ocean was awesome.
Such a cool, well laid out hotel.
Fire pits, big balconies, communal area with games…
Opposite the iconic Huntington Beach Pier. You can’t ask for much more.
Location is a big plus. Steps from the beach. Also close drive to Huntington Beach. Staff is super friendly. Awesome rooftop area with a great vibe and view
