Location overlooking the lake. When I woke up before dawn, I went out to the patio area at the end of the parking lot, and looked at the stars, and then watched the sun come up. Photos attached below of the night sky over the lake, and of the sun coming up.

Walker is a great little town with just enough of everything. The Mountain View BBQ should be a must stop for any 395 travelers. Many people like Walker Burger but I wasn’t impressed. Good personality of the husband and wife managers. Wife and I bought one of the many incredible metal sculptures for sale next door. The Walker Burger Restaurant across the street sold delicious food.

The hosts were very friendly and we had a nice comfortable room very clean and the grounds were wonderfully accented with flowers and trees. Nice to bbq 🍗 and eat outside. I really can’t say that anything there was not to our liking. Our friends loved it and this was their first time.

We enjoyed how quiet it is even though it’s on a busy road and it’s not far from our house in Reno. The owners are really great and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. They let us have our dog here and she just loves to play in the court yard. We plan on bringing our grandchildren with us next timeanne
