This was off season and yet we find that April has enough stores and restaurants open. A beautiful walking town and when we make plans, walking in the woods or at Greylock are amazing. The community is very friendly towards travelers!

A beautiful western Massachusetts town, very walkable, with nice boutiques and galleries. We visited in October, so some restaurants had closed for the season. We, however, were fortunate to have an incredible meal at Firefly Gastropub. It was popping the night we were there! We had seats at the bar and were attended by the amazing bartender who must have been wearing roller skates! I highly recommend a visit to the area.

Great town for wonderful restaurants, super quirky shops (and a Judaica store) and perfect location to October Mount, Monument Mount, Great Barrington, Tanglewood, Edith Wharton home, and all the hikes and running trails you could wish for.

If you go to a concert on a Sunday hardly any restaurants are open. If there are any, they don't open until 5 pm which is too late when going to a concert. You need reservations a month or so in advance. No 4 or 5 star hotels. Tanglewood is a wonderful venue to see live music and Canyon Ranch Spa is fabulous

Everything is broken or out of order and the "breakfast"...

Everything is broken or out of order and the "breakfast" that they offer is yogurt, cheap muffins and cheap coffee. The beds are cheap and hard, the pillows are cheap and flat, we didn't have a comforter-we had two sheets and some sort of runner across the foot of the bed. The hair dryer and refrigerator were broken. The advertised pool is empty and filthy. Seriously, there are other hotels that are right around this price point, worth the extra few dollars to pick a different place.

Lenox is a beautiful, historical and authentic town in the heart of the Berkshires that keeps drawing me back. The winding tree-lined roads that lead to the Inns, wonderful restaurants and shops, and classic homes, set amongst the backdrop of mountains, make it truly enchanting.

Unfortunately, staffing was limited as it is in the whole hotel industry. The staff they had were very happy to help and provide what they could. Restaurant was closed. The room was up a steep flight of stairs .We are in our 80's so stairs are not easy. It was easy to see that this place used to be beautiful but it needs paint and some TLC as well as a bigger staff. I think they did the best they could with what they had. The staff they had were very friendly and eager to help.

The Inn is an authentic treasure and glimpse at the past in the heart of Lenox. In the evening I enjoyed sipping tea in the parlour next to the baby grand, while settling in on the sofa with a book. In the morning, a wonderful assorted continental breakfast in the cozy, intimate tea room. And my room! A claw-foot tub! Spindle bed! Duvet! Best sleep in a long time! The evening Manager Ron was especially kind and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful stay, I can't wait to return!

Beautiful grounds and very comfortable rooms. Very close to the Edith Wharton mansion. Really good breakfast. Free bikes to cycle over around the area. Its located out of town which is what I was looking for but that may not be to everyone's liking. It's just a 5 min drive to Lenox village centre. And close to all the sights in the area - Rockwell museum, Mouument Mtn, Bash Bush waterfalls, Lee, Stockbridge, etc.

Wagon Wheel is a little gem! I’ve stayed there more than once. From the street it doesn’t look like much, but the rooms are cozy and beautifully kept. It doesn’t have a lot of extra amenities, but that keeps it affordable and makes it the perfect safe, comfortable place for me to stay while enjoying all that the Lenox area has to offer. It love it!

Fantastic location in Lenox. The Dewey is a beautiful historic inn and a lovely place to stay. Rooms are very comfortable. We really appreciated being moved to room 12 as the fridge was very useful. Breakfast was simple but adequate, and we enjoyed it. Granola, yoghurt, fresh blueberries, blueberry muffins, bagels and English muffins.

We were kindly upgraded to a bigger room due to availability. The staff (big thank you to Donna!) were terrific in accommodating my vegan and my wife's vegetarian preferences and the meals were great. Very clean room, modern bathroom and excellent location in the center of Lenox and easy drives to attractions in the area.

The staff was absolutely wonderful! Daniel and everyone else made our stay exceptional! The hotel also has the best views, best location, and the newly renovated bar is a hidden gem with the best cocktails in town. I picked this hotel for a special occasion and while my expectations were already high, they surpassed it.

Staff is excellent, nice and helpful, 13 out of 10. Room was unexpectedly clean and comfortable. Bonus point for usb charger ports nearby the bad. Enough parking spots. I actually like the location, enough restaurants in the area and 30 minutes away from Catamount. Highly recommend the place.
