Door county is a beautiful place to visit.

Door county is a beautiful place to visit. Relaxing and the scenery is breathtaking. Plenty of restaurants, vineries and craft breweries. Sturgeon Bay is a beautiful area but we spent half of our time elsewhere.

We could not have asked for a better experience than we had at the Scofield House. The hosts were wonderful, kind and helpful. The room was lovely and the food delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the lighthouses and going to the Maritime museum. Wish we had time to shop at the Thursday sidewalk sales.

We enjoyed a fish fry at Waterfront Marys. Great location and food. The views are amazing. Lots of little shops downtown & only about a 40 min drive to the edge of the peninsula, to sisters bay and less to the rest of the harbors. Worth a trip here.

The fall colors were just beginning to show their brilliance, we had delightful meals at Mike's Bar and Grill in Jacksonport, loved the skyline view at Peninsula State park, which also was a beautiful drive. Visited Eagle Bluff lighthouse and enjoyed shopping in multiple towns on the peninsula.

I really loved the comfort of the house, it felt like home. The place was nice and I had no issues whatsoever. I really recommend this house if anyone is looking for a safe place to stay. It was my first time staying at place other then a hotel but overall great experience. The location isn't far from other popular places either and there's a lot to enjoy! I loved that they provided board games because what's better then a game night with your family!

We were so happy with our stay here - this was a little gem! The owners were very nice and the rooms were clean and very quiet. In fact this is the quiet side of the peninsula but that suited us just fine! The hotel is right on the beach front and there is a little coffee shop too for the mornings. There was plenty to do in the area or you can drive easily to other villages. I can see this being a place we will come again and again!

Hotel was well positioned on the water with suites of various sizes, all with views of Sturgeon Bay. Our 1 bedroom suite was very comfortable except for the plumbing. A great deal of water was wasted getting it hot in all faucets. And the shower was problematic, which we reported to the front desk. Personnel were very friendly and helpful. Overall a very nice choice for one night in Sturgeon Bay.

Exceeded my expectations for value, location, and quality. This owner should become the poster child for what motel owners should aspire to. Her rooms are well appointed, even with the simple appointments. She has taken novel approach toward furnishings rather than buy cheap pressed wood. She deserves all the best success for the work she has put in.her staff is wonderful, I could go on.

The location was wonderful - just off the main drag of Sturgeon Bay, within walking distance of places to eat and drink but not in a noisy part of town. The breakfast was tasty and thoughtfully prepared - the cherry-stuffed french toast was a trip highlight. Contactless check-in and check-out worked very smoothly, and the innkeeper was very helpful and accessible via text.

We stayed in Yurts at Tranquil Timbers in Sturgeon Bay. The cozy and well-equipped yurts are amazing. The campground's serene location and friendly staff make it an ideal choice for a peaceful getaway more specifically during weekdays since the camping was very quiet. Highly recommended.
