I booked this property because it was the cheapest in town and I got what I paid for. When I arrived I informed the host I was there and he refused to even come down to speak with m ein person before paying him. I tried several methods (credit card, western union transfer, or simply going to get cash in the morning) none of which satisfied him. I asked to leave my bag there while I went to an ATM that night and he refused. Eventually I asked him straight up if he wanted to honor my reservation and he said no. I’ve been traveling in south america for 7 months and this was by far my worst experience with a host.
