The Amosphere was an incredible value with wonderful staff. Kudos to everyone for being so friendly. The property was well-maintained and the room was very clean. Everything you could possibly want was in the room. Nice comfy chair by the window as well.

Situated in Rouyn-Noranda, Les Racines du p'tit Isidore has a terrace. Guests staying at this tented camp have access to a balcony. Beautiful location, just a short walk from the parking lot but you're quickly immersed in the wild. The family who runs the site is so friendly and the yurt was incredibly well supplied. Be warned: cell service is spotty, and there is no wifi. But that came like a breath of fresh air, being able to disconnect completely.

Situated in Val-d’Or on the east side of Lac Blouin and facing the Harricana River, Au Soleil Couchant features a barbecue. It is 12 minutes' drive from the Val-d'Or city centre. The hosts are bi-lingual so there is no problem communicating. The breakfast room and adjacent deck are overlooking a beautiful, tranquil lake. The guest rooms are beautifully appointed.

The Quality Inn & Suites in Val-d’Or is located near the downtown area, Centre Air Creebec (Arena) and several large mining and forest companies. To be honest, the breakfast was disappointing! The service was great in the restaurant but the quality of the food was poor and the hot items were cold.

The Comfort Inn hotel is located just two kilometers from downtown and seven kilometers from the Val-d'Or Airport. Breakfast was better than we expected. Very friendly breakfast staff

L'Escale Hôtel Suites, situated in Val D’Or, Québec, features an on-site restaurant and bar. All guest rooms offer the convenience of a mini-fridge and coffee maker. The staff is warm and helpful. The food at le club was very good. The hotel seemed clean.
