This felt like a peaceful retreat from the moment I arrived. It felt as if I had my own hut with my own beach and my own perfect dock to sit on for sunrise and sunset. The water is so clear that you can have your coffee or make yourself cocktail and just watch the fish go by. It was absolutely home for two days and I wish that it were for two weeks.

The Aitutaki Seaside bungalows are perfect for a couple looking for a vacation hideaway. You have kitchen facilities so you can cook your own food, an outside shower so you can wash off the beach sand (and there is plenty of that), and they're air conditioned so you have great comfort all the time. You're met at the airport and ushered to your place with dispatch. And the manager is easy to get hold of abs helpful. She arranged our rental car for us, advised us regarding lagoon cruises, and pretty much made sure we had everything we needed. And the beach is less than 100 metres from the front door. How can you go wrong?

Great relaxed place with an excellent swimming beach and a short walk to a great bar (Boat Shed) and cafe (Koru). Could not be in a more stunning location. A bit isolated from the rest of the island but that is a positive in my view, especially given the stunning location. Really friendly management and staff. Rooms cleaned daily. The breakfast was excellent. We will definitely stay here when we next visit Aitutaki.

Aitutaki Village gives you amazing access to its private lagoon, and the hosts Jane and Robin were wonderful guides to the island. The location is peaceful, yet easy to access all the best parts of Aitutaki. We loved our stay!
