The breakfast provided as a part of the rate was bountiful and offered all that one could want/ need. The negative reviews I read previous to my arrival must have been drafted from those who have somewhat unrealistic expectations. Hotels outside of Quito are Not necessarily going to be predictable big box hotels in other countries. Embrace the fact you are near to the Amazon and be glad to have this hotel offering in El Coco. I did not see ONE other hotel that could begin to compare!!! Also much appreciated were the in room air conditioning as well as the restaurant. Don’t expect that elsewhere in El Coco.

Serving its guests for over 45 years, Hotel El Auca offers accommodation in El Coca city centre in Puerto Francisco de Orellana. Room was clean and massive! Really good location and good food (breakfast was yummy). Friendly staff willing to help. Best place to stay imo

There was hot water. AC worked great. Definitely would stay there again. Staff was always friendly.
