Located in Toab in the Orkney Islands region, Taylor's Rest provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. the chalets were nearly identical, and built and furnished to the highest standard. Everything was as new, including the large hot tub which we used a couple of times during our short stay. The location was quite private and only 8 mins drive from Kirkwall if you needed anything, and as Orkney is a small set of islands you could get to anywhere on the main island within 40 mins of where the chalets were situated.

Karrawa Guest House is set in the town of Kirkwall, less than 1 mile from the town centre and within 2.5 miles of the airport and ferry terminal. Karrawa is a lovely home with a very comfortable guest room and an exquisitely appointed en-suite. Everything was so clean and Fyona was quite friendly snd welcoming. Our cooked breakfast was delicious. I wish we had been able to spend more time there.

Great guest house a short walk from downtown Kirkwall. This is an ideal base to see everything Mainland Orkney has to offer. We walked to Kirkwall and the Highland Park distillery from here. Breakfast was very good, and the rooms were comfortable.

I only had the fruit and Greek yogurt (and good coffee) but that was exactly what I wanted. The host was very helpful with our early leaving and storage of our bikes.

Great position for exploring Orkney.
