Located in the small village of South Warnborough and just 15 minutes from the home of Jane Austen, is The Poacher Inn. I like everything about The Poacher, but especially the people who worked there, and particularly the managers: Jayne and Jon. Terrific people who went out of their way to make my stay an enjoyable one. I stayed in four other inns during this trip, and my stay at The Poacher was, by far, the nicest.

Staff have been amazing and so good with children. I wish I could remember everyone's names, but Mehdi at the reception, Faye at Sharkie's Pool and Sangeeta, who brought some of our meals, have all treated us with so much kindness I feel they are excellent ambassadors for what the Four Seasons Hampshire has to offer.

He was very welcoming and we not only enjoyed the pub atmosphere but also the great food that was served in the pub. The location is so beautiful. Our room was spacious and clean. If I'm ever in the area I will most definitely stay here again. I loved it.
