Agnadi studios is located in Astypalaia Town and offers self-catering accommodation with Aegean Sea views. It features BBQ facilities and free WiFi in public areas. We loved everything. Anna our host was so welcoming and the apartment more than met our expectations. It was romantic and perfectly presented. The area is stunning, the restaurant settings also, and the beach at Maltezana is just wow. Thank you so much for the people,of this beautiful island, for helping us enjoy our 10 year wedding anniversary. On a practical point of view, this area is not necessarily for those who struggle with walking up hills or steps, but perfectly manageable with assistance. There is a store in the local area with enough to suffice. Please don’t expect the range one might find in a larger cosmopolitan area. I personally visited the 7 stars restaurant earlier in the season and the welcome and service I received was exceptional. I was treated to a local seafood delicacy for free at the end of my meal and a delicious local ouzo. The view over the sea when the moon is full is to die for. From Agnadis studios you are within walking distance of another couple of restaurants just past the main Maltezana beach and over a small hill. It is well worth the walk as the local musicians, food and community are both welcoming, traditional and amazing. It’s lovely to eat and enjoy the early evening atmosphere of the sun setting, kids playing around the jetty and yachts floating gently in the breeze in the harbour. Anna will happily pick you up and drop you off from the port upon arrival and departure. Obviously advanced communication is important. I also recommend a small beach bar at the harbour if embarking or disembarking from a ferry. It’s cleverly named “Portakali” Greek word for orange but intriguingly also has words meaning great and port included. I can’t say any more, you have to experience this island for yourselves. I was fortunate to island hop this year and I can’t fault any of the islands, but this was one of my favourites.

A Castillio egy hagyományos szálloda, mely a tengerparti Maltezánában (Análipszi), a strandtól 300 méterre, a várostól pedig mindössze 8 km-re helyezkedik el. Stayed for one night and then extented our stay for 2 more nights. We loved the location and the views. Our room was spacious and immaculately clean. A big thanks to the staff, they were all super friendly and attentive. Overall a great place to stay. Would love to go back!

Overlooking the bay of Maltezana, the charming Castellano Village features a kidney-shaped pool with stunning views of the Aegean Sea. Castellano Village is a magic place with a wonderful view over the bay. The owners are very kind and competent people who work with passion. We spent beautiful days in our apartment. Situated in Analipsi, 100 metres from Maltezana Beach and 800 metres from Schoinontas Beach, Chrysiis House 1 offers a garden and air conditioning. The host was an amazing lady who was waiting for us with the apartment open and welcomed us warmly with a fantastic bottle of wine and a bowl of fresh wigs! The apartment was immaculate, very clean, fresh and with easy access. Perfect for a couple and quite spacious for a family of four for sure. We will definitely be returning next year with our whole family. There was also plenty of space to park our car.

Set in Analipsi and only 500 metres from Maltezana Beach, Galini Studios offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. although you might think that Analipsi is out of the way, it is perfect for beaches and food. Galini Studios are pristine and although we thought they were brand new, they have in fact been there for some time. The owners were more than willing to collect us from the ferry and take us back. I could not have been happier

Accommodation, location, cleanliness, kindness were above expectations. I would especially like to thank Katerina for all her kindness and advice. We will definitely be back. To everyone who will visit the island, I recommend using Astybuss and a trip to nearby Kounupa.
