The facilities were exactly what I needed and my hosts were extremely pleasant. The hotel is not in the city of Zagreb (thus aptly named "airport hotel"), but it pretty much is the closest hotel to Zagreb airport (approx. a 5 minute taxi/shuttle drive) and therefore really convenient pre- or post-flight. I stayed there the night before with my parents because I had to be at the airport before 6 a.m. The convenience of getting up at 5:30 and being at the airport 30 minutes later is priceless. The hotel is modern, VERY clean. The reception staff was extremely friendly and arranged for a taxi (€15) to the airport because I had to leave before the hotel's shuttle started operating. The onsite restaurant was cheap, but comfortable, with large portions, friendly staff, and good food. Did not have breakfast though so cannot comment on that. All in, it ticked all the boxes for a conveniently located, comfortable, and clean airport hotel.
