The tour was our highlight! Natalia was the best guide we could have asked for. She took us off the beaten track and we did not meet a lot of other tourists. She grew up in Toraja and knows a lot about their culture. She was like a friend for us, caring, funny and interested in us. She did everything to feel us comfortable around the sometimes (for us) unusual traditions in Toraja.

The traditional meal she cooked the next day was also great, chicken in bamboo. There is a full bathroom outside the house with a hot water shower, western toilet and two sinks - very clean. The traditional house would not be able to accommodate a bathroom in the building itself. This is an experience to stay in real Toraja house - it is not a fancy hotel - but it is great!!
