Definitely the best accomodation we had in Iceland. The cottage we stayed was spacious and very lovely with all necessary equipment. the parking in front of it was a bonus.The breakfast was fresh and very delicious. the staff was extremely helpful. Check in and check out very effective.

Lovely stay at The Blackhouse. Self check-in allowed us to arrive later than usual and have a seamless experience. Like others have mentioned, the lack of a stove with pots and pans was a bummer, but the estate more than made up for it with the luxurious space and cleanliness afforded to us from the get go. Would definitely come to stay again :)

We were not sure how to access the keys at first as we had to enter the black door on the south side first. As there is an apartment in the other half of the house we though we would be entering somebodys apartment by opening the doors. But then the key was easy to find and the apartment was perfect for an overnight stay.

Just 0.6 mi off Iceland’s Ring Road, this privately-run guest house is 2.5 mi from Höfn town center. It offers free WiFi, scenic views of the surrounding nature and a furnished terrace in the garden. Clean apartment with very nice kitchen and bathroom with heated floor. I really liked the number of sockets for recharging phones and cameras. Really recommending this one.

This family-run guest house, off the Ring Road in southeast Iceland, is 4.3 mi from Höfn. Free WiFi is available. we unfortunately stayed only one night. we really liked the house - felt like at home.
