The patron was absolutely marvellous! So friendly and always willing to help. The family succeeded to create a cosy atmosphere, bit like a living room at home. Great breakfast and great support to explore the area. We were lucky to celebrate Hmong new year, which was a surprise and a gift.

Located 11 km from Plain of Jars: Site 1, Kongkeo Guesthouse offers 1-star accommodation in Muang Phônsavan and features a garden. Kong was such a nice host and he welcomed me with a smile and helped me with so many things! I was so sad about only having time to stay there for 1 night cause he was so comfortable to be around. I didnt go on his tour but i really wish I had! The bed was nice and the outdoor seating was really good aswell. Just a very chill man and very flexible. He welcoms everyone and helped me get a tuktuk to the busstation in the evening.

The guesthouse itself is very comfortable and clean. Definitely great value for cost.
