The hostress of the homestay was extremely friendly and hospitable. We stayed for three nights in a row and booked dinner for three days. The dinners were delicious; Dina is a great chef. She is also very talented in singing and dancing, and she is happy to share her life with us, making our stay in Mulu a very wonderful and memorable experience.

The location of this homestay is the best part about it. It's a 2 minute walk from the park entrance while still giving you the feel of being outside of the park. They kept power on the whole time so we could still charge things throughout the day and keep the fans on all night. At nights the rooms cooled down and were comfortable. The bathrooms were shared but we were the only people here so it felt private.

El Benarat Lodge se encuentra en el exuberante parque nacional Mulu del Sarawak, a pocos pasos del río Melinau Paku y a 1 km de la cafetería Tenguloh. Hay estacionamiento privado gratuito. Rooms are large with aircons and private bathrooms. It is across the river from Marriott, and five minutes by car from the airport and the national park. They will drive you to the national park for a small fee (5 myr per person).

El Mulu Village ofrece alojamiento con patio en Mulu. El alojamiento cuenta con terraza. El parque nacional de Mulu está a 2,4 km. This was a big surprise. Brenda and James are awesome. There’s so much to see, do and learn about nature and the tribes there. We did some tours to caves with Brenda and we did a tour to Long Iman which was amazing, went to a long house and then walked to a waterfall. More remote than the tours within the park and maybe even cooler. We loved it! Price wise this is also a no brainer. Accommodation is basic but well kept. I was a bit nervous about not having an AC but it does cool off a bit at night.

El Mulu Marriott Resort está situado en medio de la vegetación natural y exuberante de la selva, cerca de la frontera entre Malasia y Brunei, junto al río Melinau Paku, en Miri. It's amazing to build and maintain such a high standard hotel. Really not easy. We got an upgrade and enjoyed very much the premiere suite during our 4 days stay at Marriott in Mulu.
