Glentanner Park is a holiday park and activity centre offering affordable accommodation and panoramic views of Aoraki Mount Cook and Mount Cook National Park. Although I stay a night in this place, I love it anyway. The shared spaces are clean and spacious. The park is located near the mountain which provides travellers with a good view for photography. What’s more, the staff is so friendly that makes me feel like home.

Fox Glacier Jade Hotel is offering accommodation in Fox Glacier. The hotel also offers free WiFi and free private parking. The nearest airport is Hokitika Airport, 158 km from the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and affordable this hotel was. The room was clean and well-equipped, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget.

Bella Vista Motel Fox Glacier is easy to find, situated right in the heart of the Fox Glacier Village. Only a few minutes’ walk from shops, cafés and restaurants. The lady at the reception was amazing, very kind, always smiling and always here to make things convenient. The place was big, quiet and very convenient location. Comodities was very good and the place very clean. We slept so well, that we booked again Bella Vista in Wanaka. The little plus, thanks for the tissues, we appreciated the gesture 😁

Fox Glacier Lodge is located in Fox Glacier and sits on the edge of The Westland Tai Poutini National Park. Free WiFi access is available. A quieter town compared to Franz Josef. Located just along the Minnehaha walk where you can see glow worms. They provide free join in tour at 8pm and we managed to catch it. Good experience! Love the hottub in the bathroom. Breakfast is self-service and they provide eggs, coffee, tea, milk, cereal and bread, good spread and comfortable stay for the price paid.

Posizione molto vicina al Fox Glacier. Pur essendo un ostello abbiamo prenotato una camera con bagno privato, piccolo ma funzionale. Stanza ampia. Non abbiamo usufruito di nessun servizio essendo arrivati nel tardo pomeriggio e ripartiti prima dell’alba. Accoglienza cordiale.

Il Church at Fox è una chiesa ristrutturata risalente a 60 anni fa in pietra e in legno neozelandese. Offre un patio con vista sulle montagne e un lussuoso bagno con cabina doccia. Nice kitchen, I guess some may have difficulty with European style or appliances, but we have similar, so no problems. I read some reviewers found the bathroom door was sticking or they didn't like the bathroom blinds. I'm reporting the bathroom door slides easily, and even if someone put their nose up to the window they couldn't possibly see anything. The property is as nice as the interior photos show. Remodel was very tastefully done. Thank you for the bottle of wine.
