The facilities were brilliant, especially the well stocked kitchen and the outdoor baths. It was such a peaceful, beautiful spot to unwind, watch and feed the ducks and swans. We really enjoyed sharing the delicious platter, which was perfect with a glass of local rose wine. All those additional treats like the home made biscuits made you feel like you were being looked after.

Ascot Oamaru Motel is one of Oamaru's largest motel complexes only minutes by car to the town center, shops, Blue Penguin Colony, Oamaru Racecourse, Centennial Park and the Historic Oamaru Precinct. I found it OK for one night stay but the room was dated but still it was clean .
