Wonderful little gem of a hotel on Sao Jorge. This remodeled historic property maintains the quaint feel of life in the centuries past. The staff is very friendly and extremely accommodating if there is anything you need or any questions you may have. The breakfast is an amazing traditional breakfast and we never left hungry. This hotel hasn't been around long, but they are doing such a great job I think they will be around a long time. Beautiful property too with a pool, garden, and little farm where they raise chickens for the eggs you eat at breakfast. This is definitely where we will stay again next time we come to Sao Jorge! Thank you!!

Tropical Fruit Garden is a detached holiday home, located in a quiet spot in the southern part of São Jorge Island, in Azores. the house was very comfortable and very clean. Don’t forget to get a tour of the magnificent gardens!

Casa da Ermida is located in Ribeira do Nabo, right in the centre of S. Jorge Island, Azores. Featuring typical architecture, this unit offers free WiFi acess and private parking. Great place that creatively uses its original space as a house rental. Unique building with great amenities; including an amazing air conditioner. Quiet area that’s not too far from all of the fun would definitely stay here again.

Hosts very welcoming. They offer you the use of the kitchen and to sit anywhere in the house. They were most helpful and giving us advice on places to visit. Breakfast is not provided, but you can use the kitchen to prepare your own. Or dinner. Large bedroom. Everything very clean. Hosts speak English very well. located about 10 minutes outside of Velas and three minutes from a nearby restaurant.

Perched on the mountains of São Jorge Island, Cantinho offers a furnished terrace with an infinity pool and a hot tub. It offers luxurious, air-conditioned apartments with a private patio. The suite has 2 decent sized bedrooms with king beds (2 twins together), which were very comfortable. One bedroom had a 3 piece ensuite bathroom and the other 3 piece bathroom was just down the hall from the 2nd bedroom. The kitchen had great appliances, including a washer and clothing steamer. We really enjoyed the patio area with inside views of the courtyard. It was a great location where we could easily walk to the gardens, harbour and shopping area.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Make it Happen Farm offers accommodation in Urzelina. Free private parking is available on site. Each room has a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Fantastic setup with smaller individual room and a large kitchen and living room that was a common space. Beautiful view of Pico (when the weather is clear). Great large porch to enjoy a beverage. Breakfast provided was bread, eggs from the on-site chickens, Jorjense cheese (which is now my favorite) and jam....perfect!

Hotel Os Moinhos is located in São Jorge Island, with views over the highest mountain in Portugal, sited in nearby Pico Island. the grounds and views were amazing! nicely kept hotel rooms too.
