If you are visiting Umea university this is the perfect place to stay. Everything else, breakfast, room, staff were also good and professional.

Hotell Gamla Fängelset is a converted prison from 1861 located in central Umeå and offers free WiFi and breakfast. All rooms have windows and shared bathroom facilities. Very nice atmosphere Slept surprisingly well in our cell :D Very good selection for breakfast. We would definitely recommend this place
