We were surprised by the warm welcome and hospitality of the family running this hostel. The home-made dinner was just fabulous as well as the breakfast. It was like a paradise after one- day driving… Totally recommended!

Situated by Highways E12 and E45 in central Storuman, Hotell Toppen offers free parking and rooms with a TV and private bathroom with shower. Storuman’s main square is 100 metres away. Normally I am not such a fan of hotels due to the fact that most of them feels a bit unpersonal. How different it was with Hotell Toppen. Really great. The most friendly staff. I arrived late but told them that I'm doing a big motorcycle trip and that I'm hungry. The lady told me that the chef just left to home, but she called him, he came back and made me a delicious meal! Location and room wonderful. This is how every hotel should be. They understand the business. An example for the hotel business.

Breakfest was very good. Not like in big hotel, but many different things do eat. There was like hometown. So friendly, quiet and nice. You can take anytime coffee in the machine if you like.

The cabin is cute, large, fully equipped with everything we needed including bathroom, coffee maker, ovens, microwave, outdoor grill, hair dryer and so on. There is amazing view on the lake from the cabin. It is situated in a lovely countryside of north foothills. There is a lovely shop in walking distance where you can buy anything you need. The owner provides private sauna on the lake bank, which was just amazing.
