Claremont is easy to get to, not too far from one of the interstate highways. The Common Man Inn is a converted mill. What an absolutely beautiful place to stay. This inn is spectacular — from its location on the river to its rustic refurbished buildings, excellent restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, and overall sparkling cleanliness. The large room near reception is so very appealing: three comfy sofas around the fireplace to read. Brick and beams and bookcases...so warm and inviting. The staff members were friendly, helpful, and profesional. Caterinne, the girl who greeted us at the reception, was charming, efficient and gave us all kinds of instructions. We appreciated that the Fitness Center with Gym / Workout Roomfitness room and jakuzzi and sauna facilities were open until 11 p.m. That was the perfect ending to the marathon. The rooms are spacious and the bedding is among the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Spacious room (perfectly-placed reading light., air conditioning, Desk,Telephone, Coffee / tea maker, Refrigerator, Flatscreen TV, Bottled water, Iron, Wake-up service / alarm clock...) Nicely equiped bathroom: Complimentary toiletries, Hair dryer, artisan soap ... Free wifi was included and it was fast and uninterrupted. In the morning there was a complimentary expanded continental breakfast served in the lobby, Cereals, breads, juice, fruit, better quality yoghurts, coffee, thee and superdelicious the breakfast sándwiches: high quality. I look forward to being there again !
