The views were Amazing overlooking the park and seeing wild animals. There were activities for families with children and a clean pool. Great bar on site and Evening Entertainment .

Located in Dete, 2.9 km from The Teak (Hwange Safari Lodge), Gwango Elephant Lodge features accommodation with access to a garden with a barbecue. A patio with forest views is offered in each unit. From the moment we climbed into the safari jeep to head to the the resort, to the welcoming staff, incredible safari experiences with Marco, delicious food by Chef Conrad, comfortable and beautifully decorated rooms, dining with the elephants, and campfire chats, we were in Zimbabwe heaven!

Gwango Heritage Resort features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Dete. The resort also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. The whole structure is super nice, with information about the area and the culture. All areas are lovely decorated. There is also a reconstruction of a local village that can be seen. The room is large and clean, the bathroom huge and we had elephants visiting the garden in the morning. The restaurant is also good.
