The most obvious thing to love about this flat was that ir was in a great location esp if you're coming from the ferry port. Its near to all supply shops and places to eat and drink and to do a bit of shopping. The harbour is right near by, perfect place to sit and watch the sun go down. We stayed in Flat 1 and we were impressed how big and spacious it was. The bedrooms were quite big and the open plan lounge/kitchen was very relaxing. In the evenings we relaxed in rhe lounge and I even took advantage of the gaelic to English dictionary! Thank you to the host for leaving a bottle of lemonade, fresh loaf of bread and some biscuits. That was a nice touch! There was also milk in the fridge and the kitchen was well equipped with also tea/coffee/sugar as well as with cleaning products. The bathroom was amazing, I loved how deep the bath was and how powerful the shower was. Toilet flushed well and the sink worked well also. I loved the white tiles, made it look cleaner and bigger. The furniture was perfect. Very relaxing. The flat was very near to the bus garage which was very handy. The flat was 10 minutes walk from the castle and museum. We didn't mind the noise much. We had to open the windows as it was very hot and as there is a pub right under, its normal for there to be noise. But when the windows are shut you can't hear much.

Our host Shona was very welcoming, kind and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The house had everything you need for a perfect stay. The location was great for us as we have relatives in the area.

This little home was simply wonderful. It was a welcoming space, where even the smallest details had been considered. There was plenty of space to spread out through the apartment. The kitchen was SO clean, and had everything we needed, including a washing machine. The property owner also provided a drying rack. In addition, they had provided fresh bread and milk, and another treat in the fridge! It was such a lovely touch. It was a short drive into town, but more importantly, a well placed base to explore the Isle of Lewis. Parking space provided. I wish we had been able to stay longer.
