We had a wonderful stay at Mango Guest House in Aswan, just around our day trip to Abu Simbel. The guest house provided a calm and clean environment, making our experience truly lovely. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. One of the highlights was the easy access to Elephantine Island, with frequent boats available for a convenient visit. Overall, we had a great time at Mango Guest House and would highly recommend it for a pleasant and relaxing stay in Aswan.

Great view of the city. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a 2 minute ferry to mainland.

The guest house was located ideally. The view was fantastic from the terrace. The owner went out of the way to attend all the requests we had during our stay.

We loved our stay here, beautiful location overlooking the Nile, and staff who will do anything for you. Loved the Nile boat ride with Ali, and Mr Mahmoud's breakfast on the roof terrace was superb. The King of Jamaica restaurant is a 2 minute walk away and serves great local food in a nice atmosphere. A great stay, particularly if you are looking for an authentic and local experience.

Staff was amazing - room was very clean and the shower was hot. They provide free transport across on their private boat even at midnight. Gasser was very friendly. Breakfast was good and they provide a lot of food.

Real nice local stay in the.middle of nubian village where you will experience real life (many tourists come here for day tours...youll already be there!!) Next to the nile river so you'll be able to walk 2 blocks to take any boat tour. Guys at the hotel are very nice and HONEST family run, great arabic food at good prices. These guys will help you to organize your tours. We took a private car, with great happy and posotive young driver who is very nice, just make sure he understands what you want, ashuan i think his name was. He drove us to abu simbel at 4am and later on all the way to Luxor in a new car. Also took a nice fast private speed boat tour on the nile for some 25usd for 3 of us, had lunch at the sofitel hotel (beautiful) and took us back at 6pm. Dont even think about it, you will feel real and comfortable in this clean and hospitable small family hotel. Recommend to stay here 3 nights minimum, 4 i think is best so you have time to relax.

The environment and the rooms are really gorgeous,the two restaurants are located along the Nile river which itself proves to be a beauty spots for photographing and taking a stroll,what’s more, the staff are really amiable and professional,not only promoted our rooms,but also help move our luggages,prepare early breakfast boxes,I do really would come again or recommend it to my friends

Všetko bolo dobré. Hotel sa nachádza v tesnej blízkosti verejného prístavu lodiek. Jedna cesta stojí 10 EGP.Pristav na druhej strane je pri KFC!Hotel je čistý, príjemný, výhľad z terasy pekný. Na terase sa podávajú raňajky, ktoré sú chutné a tradičné.Mladá pani Esraa je vždy po ruke na whatsapp.Nie je pre ňu problém zariadiť akýkoľvek výlet alebo taxi.Je veľmi milá a usmievavá.V iných recenziách bola spomínaná veľmi malá kúpeľňa, ktorá je v skutočnosti ešte menšia, ale my sme s tým nemali problém. Budila nás mešita, ktorá bola cez rieku,ale aj toto bolo v pohode....opätovne sme zaspali. Postele boli pohodlné.Trochu tam na izbe chýba nábytok ,ale my sme to vyriešili stoličkami z balkóna a všetko bolo v najlepšom poriadku.

It is a nice intimate place in the beautiful island of Elephantine. The room was spotlessly clean, which was great relief after being disappointed by different hostels in Cairo. We enjoyed the short walks on the island, where we met a lot of welcoming local families, away from the hustle of downtown. We also enjoyed the beautiful little terrace and garden in front of the room, and the good dishes made by Kafana and his crew. They were all extremely nice and respectful, besides being a great company and fun to be around. We felt we were among friends. Kafana himself is very accommodating and went out of his way to get us to our train on time. Very thankful for this experience and will surely visit again.
