The rooms were, on the whole, absolutely stunning - even better than we were led to believe by the photos. It's a beautiful building, lovingly maintained and the interior decor was thematically appropriate and very tastefully done. The view from the main room windows is superb and being able to watch the ships sailing in and out of the Mersey was a pleasure. A compact kitchen leads through to a spacious bathroom, also very nicely fitted, decorated and maintained. The proximity to the beach was another draw for us and the very short walk down to the shore is another feather in the cap for this property.

The apartment was light and airy with all the comfort and facilities you could possibly want in a home away from home. Our son slept in the vault and we loved the novelty of this and how sound proof it was (snoring couldn't be heard!). It was also in a great location, not far from beach, shops and train station. Parking was available in the street outside. The property owner was lovely and easily contactable and she had the couple of minor problems fixed very quickly.
