This was our first time in Scotland & we looked so forward to staying at Glencruitten. It was beyond anything we dreamed of. The place is absolutely stunning & full of so much history. Anna & Paul are so warm & friendly. They made you feel like you knew them forever. They gave us expert ideas of what to see, where to eat & shop. The dining room is exquisite & the breakfast out of this world. We would recommend anyone going to Scotland to make Glencruitten House a must stay. You will be happy you did.

Lovely and bright and very homely. Everything was provided for. It was great not needing to bring cleaning items, towels or other household items as we’re normally at the caravan and pack a car load. Loved the fact there was access to Netflix & you tube for my son. Location was perfect for us. Would definitely book again.

The apartment was ideal to be a base in Oban so to take ferries to explore islands nearby. Everything was within walking distance as I didn‘t have my car. A detailed direction to get in with codes was sent a day before checked in and was easy to find. The sea view was the main reason I booked the place and it was wonderful, what‘s more to ask after a day out and came back watching the changing colours of the sky and sea. Everything in the apartment was immaculate, spotless clean, generous offer of tea and coffee choices, canned drinks and biscuits, complimentary Oban whiskey was a plus. Perfect. Thank you Eileen.

The apartment was well equipped and spotlessly clean and spacious. Seems to have been recently renovated. It’s also in a nice location with a great view overlooking the bay. But above all Ian has been a great host and knows how to make the guest feel very welcome so thank you Ian.

The Wiz Kid Ireland

This guesthouse is located just outside the town of Oban. Less then 10 mins drive. The guesthouse is on a quiet road. Perfect for light sleepers like me. My room was a converted attic, I'm 5ft 10 and I tought the headroom was fine. There was a little fridge with a bottle of water and fresh milk. There was also tea, coffe, sugar, crisps, porridge. The fresh milk was a lovely touch. So many places give you UHT milk which I think is rubbish. This small thing was an example of the care and consideration that the hosts have taken with their accommodation. The bed was large, firm and comfortable. The TV had an Amazon FireStick which was used to access free to air apps to watch UK TV. But it also had Amazon Prime. Which meant I could watch my favourite shows. Again a lovely extra. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was good. There was even a bathrobe to wear after. The WIFI was fast and reliable. The whole place was spotlessly clean. The host met me on arrival, along with her beautiful husky. She was very welcoming and helpful.
