As it says, Hillside, it is exactly that. Overlooking the sea. About 10 minutes walk to the beach, which is beautiful. The house itself was clean, spacious, and well equipped. Myself and my family will definitely book another stay here in the future. There is a convenience shop in the centre, some cafes and pub's. Nearest Tesco is in Youghal about 6 miles away.

The location of the property couldn't be better. The town of Youghal with all of it's shops and restaurants is an easy walk in one direction and the beach is right outside your door in the other direction.

(especially John's oat bread 😋) The Avonmore B&B is a definitely place to stay when visiting Youghal! Perfectly located with a short distance to the beach and touristic attractions. A charming old building with its own history, will take you to the 18th century ;) Mary & John are the nicest hosts I've ever meet when traveling in Ireland - I could talk with you guys for hours and there would be always something else to talk about :) I will definitely return on my next visit in Youghal! We loved staying here because the owner totally understands what people expect and love when they book a room! A friendly welcome, a beautiful room with a super comfy bed and pillows, nice furniture and decor. When we arrived there were snacks and things for breakfast already in the room and in the fridge! A French press for coffee! Not the instant stuff you get everywhere else. I loved this ... so I could get up and have breakfast in my room whenever I wanted. Fresh croissants were hung on the door, in the morning. That really was amazing. Highly recommended.

Walking distance into town. Beautifully appointed. Mary, our lovely, friendly host was most welcoming and made sure we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. Suggested place to eat in town which was lovely.
