Great place to stay in Bunbeg. The house is worth a visit in itself and the room has everything you need as well, including a fantastic view to the sea. Also, could not have been treated better by the family running the guesthouse. They did everything and more to help us and make us feel at home while visiting this nice little town.

Nestled in the lap of nature on a hilltop, this gem has stunning mountain and nature views. The apartment is sparkling clean, so many skylights fill it with bright light making it airy and fresh, it is super comfortable and equipped with everything one may need. The area offers plenty of activity for the nature lover, from spectacular beeches, to hiking in national forests, to visiting castles, to climbing Donegal's highest peak Mt Errigal, and it's only 2,5 hours to belfast to visit the titanic museum or 3,5 hours to Dublin. The local pubs are fantastic, in magical surroundings with wonderful views and delicious food and chilled beer and sometimes local music. But the best is the hosts who are warm and gracious and go the extra mile to really put a big smile on faces of their guests, anticipating every possible want, offering invaluable suggestions, giving lovely goodies and books on the local area for reading, and ensuring an authentic taste of the magic of Ireland. Thank you so much Angela and Donnel for giving us such a spectacular vacation.

Beautiful Chalet ,,very clean and tidy and warm. All facilities were there and even got complimentary bottle of prosecco and scones with jam. Comfortable double bed and very clean ,, great views and attentive host , everything as promised and more. Cooking facilities were first class and everything we needed was there. Friendly and warm hosts and I will definitely stay there again. Would highly recommend Ocean lodge..

The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The house was charming and just what we needed as the weather was dismal. The heating and the fire were were on for us when we arrived although we didn’t need to keep the heating on as the house was so cosy. There was a basket of food waiting in the kitchen and the facilities were excellent. We loved everything about this charming house.

The location is simply stunning. It was such a treat to be a hop skip and a jump from the clear water and golden sand! We got a flat tyre just before we got to the house, and Eamon was so lovely he sorted it out for us and then gave us a lend of their kayaks. The house was clean, had everything you needed, and we felt very warm welcomed.

Loved everything about the house. The owner was lovely. Couldn't do enough. House was spotless. Beds very comfy. Gorgeous view from house. Was on a working stay. All necessary cleaning products in house. Cooking facilities etc...
