Extraordinary, positive experience. Hosts really friendly and helpful (couple of items we forgot in the room after checkout were delivered to our next stay by Piet, thank you!), the most delicious Irish breakfast I ever had (thank you Maureen!). If you are staying around the Ring of Skelligs, please try to stay there, you won't regret it.

Perfect location with beautiful water views, couple of restaurants only a minute walk away. House is very clean, has everything you need in the kitchen if you just want to make tea or cook a meal. There is also a picnic table in the private backyard so you can enjoy outdoors. Beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed fireplace so much - beginning of April is not the warmest time of the year yet. Our host came to welcome us once we arrived and gave us a lot of information about the area, local restaurants and attractions. Area is beautiful, I highly recommend coming to Ring of Kerry whenever you plan trip to Ireland.

Fabulous location over looking Valentia Island. Well equipped spacious kitchen. Large bedrooms. The cottage heats up quickly too. Bonus jacuzzi bath- the kids were thrilled!

Setting is beautiful and peaceful. The views from the sunroom are spectacular of the Irish countryside and you can see St. Finian's Bay and Skellig Michael. Great skellig ring location. We got to help herd sheep and watch shearing! Host Michael was very quick to respond to our requests and went above and beyond to resolve minor problems. The house is well equipped and accommodated 5 adults well. The wood burning stove worked well and was pleasant to use when the Summer Irish weather turned cooler.

The house was very clean, and linens were soft and in excellent condition (comforters were not worn or "pilled"). The location was excellent -- beautiful view, sweet small yard and privacy around the house. Parking important, pull up right next to the house. Separate laundry room / utility area was wonderful (many houses have washer appliance located in the kitchen, which is a huge headache -- especially for families with children! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely cottage!!
