Ibrahim was very responsive and helped us arrive at the houseboat. He gave us great recommendations for things to do around, and even took us to a few places for shopping. He organized Shikara rides not just for us but also our friends. The houseboat is very well located, very clean and beautiful. It is uniquely positioned on a corner, and thus, we had great view from our bedroom. The room was spacious, well-lit and tidy. We would definitely like to stay there when we are back.

The best houseboat in Dal lake with great view of mountains mr Imran arranged our local tour packages and boat ride in Dal lake on a very reasonable rates food was great ,spacious rooms with beautiful wood carved furniture really enjoyed my stay at Zaindari palace I will definitely recommend to stay here

I stayed in this boat house for two night. Met Mr Younis owner of the Houseboat and it was really a pleasure. He was kind and he treated us like family members.. Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay . All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. Good serving Quality Food. Tasty Food and Service was really wonderful. Especially a server named Khursheed , Danish , Ganie , Polite, Calm, Respectful and Fast in response. This is the best and my first choice. Pasadona Houseboat is one of the best house boat in kashmir valley. Most of the travel agent stay their clients in this houseboat.

I had a wonderful stay at Tashkand houseboat during winter season in January 2023. Musa, the houseboat owner, is very helpful and provide very good service. Dinner at Tashkand was our best dining in Kashmir as it's fresh meat, homemade, and no MSG. If you stay here I recommend trying 1 dining at his place. The place is clean and tidy. There's towels and amenities provided. There s no heater in the bedroom but it's replaced with warmed electric blanket which works very well to keep you warm at night, especially in winter. There are free shikara ride across to main road if you paid for shikara ride trip the first or second day. It's a special deal that the houseboat made with shikara riders so you will get the best deal and save money if you get shikara trip. It was the memorable, affordable house boat price. I will definitely come back again. Thank you, Musa :)

The place has lots of soul. Staff goes beyond helpful and polite. They share Kashmiri ways by example. They are happy to answer questions, but you can also observe the pace of things and how they relate to each other. It's more of an experience than just a place to stay. Unlike most other houseboats, Chicago makes greater investments in maintenance and cleaning. The kitchen and common areas are outstanding. Hot water and wifi was 100% dependable.

The boathouse was amazing and the hospitality we received from Mr Firdous, his family and Mr Nasir was great. The food cook by Mr Firdous wife really tastes great and we love it so much! We even celebrate eid with their family. It was an amazing stay and looking forward to visit Kashmir again jn the future!
