Gosh, there is so much that I would like to say about Dean's apartment. Firstly, book it, don't hesitate, snooze, you lose! It really is like a home from home and very private and peaceful. The pool and loungers are totally accessible and hardly used which is amazing! The pool and gardens are cleaned very regularly and thoroughly and if you are lucky, on an early morning swim, you will get a pair of dragonflies zooming along with you in the beautiful pool. We enjoyed every second spent there and may I add that my daughter, husband and young baby regularly joined us for outside bbqs and general 'mind the baby' times while they snoozed! I think this is a perfect place for youngsters too as you can just chill a little in the sun or shade, it's very family friendly. Unexpected bonus, you can catch the most gorgeous sunset from the local beach, go around 5pm and join others quietly swimming or sitting as the sun sets, even my Mauritius son in law was impressed. Thank you Dean and family. Well, Dean and family, once again many many thanks for such a beautiful place to stay. Apologies for the delay writing this review as I've been quite poorly with my gallbladder since returning home, glad to be back home mind! Your hospitality shone through in every room, we loved Gerry Giraffe and the decor really suited the place and brought a taste of your family and homeland. Hopefully one day we will get to South Africa, prob when we venture to Mauritius again in few years. Take care and have a wonderful holiday and Christmas. Right on the waterfront in a peaceful, beautiful bay. We were welcomed by our lovely hostess, Marie, who organised dinner for us and left it in our fridge for our first night as we arrived very late. This was without us asking and we were very grateful for it. The housekeeper, Premila, cooked for us every day - gorgeous curries and local creole meals. The home was relaxed, spacious and very private. It had a lovely beach-house feel. Stunning view. Will definitely go back.

The host was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the portions were quite large. An additional bonus is the quiet neighborhood and the possibility to park the car in proximity of the guesthouse.

This is just perfect for all lovers and appreciators of comfort, as cozy and quiet atmosphere impresses a lot! The outside area with the swimming pool where you can relax and listen to the nature sounds is amazing. Rooms are spacious and clean, all facilities are well-maintained and staff is really helpful!

L'appartamento è indipendente e inserito in un complesso di residence la cui entrata è gestita da un custode presente 24 ore al giorno, quindi abbiamo da subito avuto la sensazione di essere al sicuro. Per muoverci abbiamo sempre preso gli economici bus locali, in quanto l'appartamento è a pochi passi dalla fermata del bus. La fermata del bus è "bain boeuf", consiglio di prendere nota di ciò, perché per tornare a casa il biglietto si compra direttamente a bordo e costa a seconda della destinazione. A soli 5 minuti col bus siete a gran bay, dove potete fare la spesa al centro commerciale e cucinare nell'appartamento. Il proprietario mette a disposizione pentole, sale, olio, frigo e freezer ben funzionante, nonché wifi gratuito e smart TV, aria condizionata. Il proprietario per messaggio si è fatto presente con noi per sapere se era tutto ok, inoltre ci ha permesso di posticipare il check out di qualche ora, in attesa del taxi per l'aeroporto. Grazie al suo ausilio, il nostro viaggio di nozze è andato benissimo. Consiglio vivamente!
