We stayed for 5 nights and it was great! The location was perfect just next to the gardens, the room was very clean (cleaning every other day), breakfast was quite basic but a a good start for the day, very reasonable price and most importantly the staff was very kind and helped with the parking situation in Funchal. Definitely worth it and we would love to come back!

Alexandra is a great host, super friendly, and helpful. She personally welcomed us, even though we arrived very late. The room was super comfortable, and the breakfast was great, fruit, bread, cheese, ham, yogurt and some sweets 😋. She also have some fruit and welcome snacks ready for us.

Perfect position, with parking across the road and the historical centre within a 15-minute walk, with almost no elevation (essential in Funchal, especially after days full of hiking:) The apartment was equipped with everything we needed (and more) for a most pleasurable stay. The communication with the host was excellent - we had a slight issue with the window blinds, which they solved asap.

Clean, spacious, excellent location. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Everything worked as it should. Was exceptionally hot in Funchal while we were visiting but we managed to keep apartment comfortable by judicious opening and shutting of shutters and blinds

Everything. It was perfect, nothing was missing: it was very clean, the kitchen was fully equipped and the position was exceptionally good, you just have to cross the street to reach the bus stop (it took only 10 minutes to the city center) and you're surrounded by A LOT of restaurants and supermarkets. Also, the staff was always available and very helpful... couldn't have asked for anything better. Hope to come back soon.
