Maria (ägaren) är otroligt service minded och trevlig. Rummen är superfina. Tystgående AC. Kanske lite hårda sängar, men det passade mig. Restaurangen erbjuder mycket Italienska smaker och väldigt gott! När man blir sugen på lite mer "riktig zanzibar mat" är det en kort promenad till byn där det finns en del restauranger.

We stayed in Polly lodge for 5 days. Simon and Pollo are very nice hosts. The lodge is very quiet and convenient to access the beach. Simon’s cooking is the best in the island. He makes sure all the food materials are fresh. We really enjoyed the paradise-like environment. The rooms are very clean with air conditioning. I would definitely recommend to all my friends without hesitation.

The manager is an absolute legend, he is so helpful! really, he takes care of you as if you were his closest friend. Of course, this is a place where you stay when on budget, but for the price it has everything you need! a comfortable bed, good breakfast, hot shower. Only thing - the wifi does not reach to all the rooms - that could be an issue if you don't have a local sim. Upstairs is an amazing place to chill or to get some work done. The beach is literally 10m away from the property. I was here off season so the place was quiet, but during the high season you will have an amazing time for sure. If you want to get a local experience, make sure you reach out to the manager as he is really one of the greatest guys I've met on this amazing island.
